dkdlel :  I”m not sure if it’s a “Jersey” thing; but I don’t get any compliments for my set.  I’ve received compliments from a few family members and associates but never a stranger.close up small

My ring is fairly new and pretty common, at this exact moment I have it as a solitaire. I have been told my diamond is very beautiful and nice, from jewelry associates when looking at settings/bands etc. I am sure a portion of that is obligation LOL, but I have seen it catch a few ladies eyes, as other ladies rings catch my eye. A few family members have complimented it without me fishing LOL so that has to count right? But there are bees who get stopped and have had their hands grabbed, that has never and probably will never happen to mine, but I can say, I have been the weirdo who has done it to other women/strangers LOL. Sorry I cant help it LOL.

I’ve literally only ever had 2 people comment on my set in real life. I don’t know if it’s because it’s unique and I live in a place where people strive to be exactly the same like Stepford level of creepy or becuase my hands are seriously hideously ugly and that throws people off lol!  I love it though! 20170908_1738381

So many pretty rings! I’d say mine gets complimented a fair amount, but always by people I know. Family, friends and coworkers. I’ve never had a stranger stop me to compliment it and no one has ever grabbed my hand. I get compliments about the sparkle and the setting really, and some people have simply said my ring is “huge”, though that doesn’t necessarily have to be a compliment I guess?

I do get compliments. I also let them know that it is a moissanite and my bands are diamonds. It always peeks their interest in them…

I agree with the PP who said store cashiers tend to comment a lot! I would guess that most morganite owners get tons of comments (like, daily!) because people are so curious about what stone it is. I think outside of the bee it is much less known/common.

A few people have commented on mine being unusual! I’ll take that as a compliment even if it wasn’t intended as one! 😉

I do tend to get pretty frequent compliments on mine but I think a lot of that was due to working in retail when I first got engaged where people are looking at your hands. My ring also isn’t a popular style for my area so people tend to comment on that.

I receive quite a few comments on my ring, because I am constantly using my hands around people! Most of the comments are how they like the rose gold. It isn’t a popular color around here I guess! In fact I’m the only person I know that has a rose gold ring lol.

I usually receive comments about it being sparkly whenever I’m having an interaction with someone that involves my hands (paying for dinner, at a cashier, getting a manicure, etc.). Never have received any compliments about the style or size, other than some people telling me it’s “exactly what they want” which I take as a compliment 🙂
