Recently actually last weekend, I did everything myself. Hair & Makeup. it was at my cousin in laws wedding. I just did my usual makeup foundation, blush, powders, eyeliner, mascara. & Teased then curled my hair. If you can do your own hair & like it that way then go for it. If not maybe ask a friend to do it? Or if you have the extra money go to the salon. We already dished out alot of money towards their wedding so when it came to doing my own hair it wasn’t something I even thought about doing at the salon. But that’s just me.

Pictures are always fun so here are some:

I’ve never had my hair or makeup done as a guest and I’ve been in a handful of pictures. Do it yourself unless someone offers to do it for you, but I wouldn’t pay for it.

I think it is a matter of personal preference.  If you want to do it, do it, if you don’t ,don’t.  Do not hinge your decision on your relationships-do it because you want to look good in pictures, feel good about yourself….  If you decide to get your hair and makeup professionally done, do it for you and only you.  It’s your world!

My sister has her hair done for every wedding she goes to because she hates doing it herself.  If you know you’ll be in pictures and you don’t want to worry if your hair and makeup look good, than I don’t see why you shouldn’t. Plus, it’s always nice to have someone else do that stuff for you. ๐Ÿ™‚

If its in the budget, I do try to get my hair done (but do my own make up). I don’t go to weddings often so I try take it as way of treating myself.

I only had my make-up done when I was the bride. So in my case, I would just do it myself. But in your case, it’s not a problem to want professional make-up. You will be in family pictures ๐Ÿ™‚ I would save the trouble/money and do it yourself though.

I have never done it if I havent been in the wedding. But you could I guess if you are going to be in pictures and stuff there is no reason to not look your best ๐Ÿ™‚ go for it if you want to. If it were me though, I would probably just do it myself.

I’d consider a professional blow dry day of (although I haven’t done it yet), but def. not makeup (which I’ve only had professionally done at my own wedding).

I would spring to get my hair done.  I have alot of hair and curling it or blowing it out is a big deal.  My arms get really tired and I am usually really sweaty when I’m done.  I would not pay for makeup because I am really got at applying it myself.

I usually get my hair and makeup done if it’s a formal wedding.  If it’s semi formal or casual than I just blow dry it and take a little bit more time with my makeup.

I got my hair done once when I was a guest, because it was a black tie wedding and I figured a french twist and some jewelry would jazz up my plain black dress…which it did.  Cheaper to get hair done for $50 than a new dress ๐Ÿ™‚

I never have unless I’m a member of the wedding party. Like others have said. I may get a haircut and fresh blowdry but no fancy updos or anything. I’d do my own makeup unless it was like a free makeup service that I could get done at a store in the mall.
