My Fiance and I always do… I feel like I can’t fall asleep unless he’s there with me. Silly I know. He’s been gone away before for work and I find it so hard to fall asleep when I’m by myself. I guess school has been stressful lately for me (I’m a school teacher at the Jr.High school level) so lately he rubs my back every night to help me fall asleep and he’ll watch tv until he dozes off. Yea, I’m pretty spoiled haha.
so I guess what I’m asking is.. For those of you who live with your SO, do you go to bed at the same time? do you have any bedtime routines?
oops- meant to put this under ‘relationships’ and hit post…too late now

Ya, we usually go to bed at the same time. Very rarely do one of us stay up later. Usually only if theres a game on and he wants to catch the end of it 🙂

We use to go to bed at the same time. But, now I tend to go to bed about an hour or so before him. He usually wakes me up when he comes to bed because he plays with my hair 🙂

Well, we used to go to bed at the same time when we worked (because we had to go to work at about the same time). However, since I’ve been unemployed I tend to stay up a bit later and sleep in a little bit. Might as well enjoy it while I can!

Yup we usuall do, if not its like a 15 min difference. Fiance travels a lot with his job and hs has been gone latley, and I cant not fall asleep at night to save my life!! I hate it 🙁

Fiance and I never go to sleep at the same time. We have a 13 month old daughter and Fiance and her go to bed between 9 and 10 usually. I go to bed around 11 or 12. I just need that extra time to myself. I need anhour or 2 to watch tv in poeace and quiet or read, or take a long bath, whatever.

We don’t. Fiance is a night owl. I am too, but I have to get up for work earlier than he does, so I’m almost always asleep before he goes to bed. Sometimes I wish it wasn’t like that, but what can you do. At least it means I don’t have as much trouble falling asleep when he’s traveling. Except that I don’t like knowing I’m the only one in the house, it creeps me out.

We usually go to bed at the same time. I also have a hard time going to sleep without him.
During the winters he does snow removal, so he plows parking lots in the middle of the night (so there’s no cars parked in them), and those nights I toss and turn until he gets home and crawls into bed.

we ALWAYS get in bed at the same time – sometimes one of us will get up if we cant fall asleep but we always get in there together.

Fiance has the luxury of not having a set time he needs to be at work, so he almost always stays up late. I work part time and my schedule is all over the place so I stay up fairly late when I have the next day off, but some nights I need to be up early so I’m in bed sometimes four or five hours before him. I honestly wish we would both just go to bed at like 11 every night, so he could wake up earlier and not have to work until 7 pm.

Yeah, we always go to bed at the same time – this is our daily snuggle time since we will watch a movie or a bit of tv before we go to sleep 🙂

Yes almost every night. It is very rare that we dont. I have a hard time sleeping without Darling Husband in the bed!

Never. Fiance works nights and I work days. We are on very different sleep schedules. But this is fine, because Fiance snores. On the rare occasion that we do sleep in the same bed, I wake up in the middle of the night to find my earplugs, or the cats wake us up and demand a snuggle session.

I wish we did. 🙁
Fiance is a total night owl. I’m usually asleep by 10 or 11. He sometimes doesn’t sleep until 2! I have a hard time sleeping when he’s not at least in the room.

almost never! I have to get up at 5:30 to work out and get to work on time, so I’m usually in bed by 9:30 (I need alot of sleep!)…my fiance doesn’t have set hours at work and never has to be in before 10 so he likes to go to bed late and sleep in. We set aside a few hours every night to cook dinner together, cuddle and etc, and then i usually pass out and he comes to bed a couple hours later. I have no issues sleeping without him! I love it when he goes away for a weekend or something – i wash the sheets, use my best pjs, and just spread out all over the bed! (not meant to be insensitive to the ladies in LDRs or with military hubbies – i only like it if he’s away for a short period of time)
