    That’s totally rude about the children in the aisle!  

    I’ve never really heard of having an official “gift opening” so I can’t really tell you the etiquette on that.  We just went back to our hotel room with my Mom and opened them, it wasn’t a big deal.

    I have never heard of a gift opening until recently. I would think anyone can go that wants to see you open gifts, however, these cousins didnt have that intention in mind so they were just using and abusing your hospitality.

    I’d say anyone can go… but with manners!!

    Plus, you should always at least give a card!  Always!
