It’s up to you and your fiance. No rules!  My fiance wanted me to go because he’s not got an eye for fashion 😀  But some guys like to surprise their ladies with their final look.

@petitcupcake:  SO wanted to buy a suit for the wedding and wanted my opinion so we went together. Ending up getting two suits and picking out rentals for the guys. It was a fun experiences…..and boy did he look great in a suit. I’ve never seen him in one in our almost 5 years of being together.

Yes, I went with him. I do all his shopping for clothes so the idea of him going by himself hadn’t even crossed either of our minds. LOL

I went with my Fiance and tried to just watch and not do any of the talking. It’s really his deal, once we got to Men’s Wearhouse and he saw all of the gorgeous suits, he figured out what he wanted pretty quickly.

Yep! I took him to the initial appointment to pick out the tux and register the boys, and then we’re going again next Saturday now that the tux is in to see how it looks/fits. The only thing I’m nervous about is the vest–I really just want them to wear the vest + pants, but if the vest strap (the sizing thing in the back) has to be pulled down too far, it’s going to look ridiculous and he’ll have to wear the jacket, too.

I went with him even though it wasn’t planned.  I trusted his best man (he’s got an eye for fashion) and I wanted to let them have the “Just us Boys” time (it was FI, his best man and his two teenage sons).  However I was in the neighborhood and Fiance called me because he couldn’t find anything he liked.  I’m glad I went because our consultant wasn’t good.  It was Best Man and I who ended assembling the looks. They are gonna look handsome.

So my advice is, if your Fiance wants you there, you should go!

I sent my dad and his brother with my husband to make sure he stayed on task and didn’t pick out a zoot suit (it was a legitimate concern).

I did see the tux when he went back to put down deposits and get fitted, but only because he couldn’t decide between two and wanted me to pick for him (I refused! I picked my dress, I told him both were fine, he had to pick his favorite!).

I went with him to make sure the colors/patterns he chose went with the wedding colors, and to make sure the dad’s were in a coordinating outfit.  I think it is entirely up to you two though!

I went for the decision making but didn’t see him in it! Keeping that for the day. I have NEVER seen him looking smart.

He ran it by me which one he was going to get (a morning suit) and then just him and I went to look at it in person and then for the actual fitting he went with his Best Man and Grooms Men but texted me lots of photos 🙂

I told him what colour tie and waistcoat etc him and the guys should get to match the girls and he agreed.

I’ve said that I’ll go with him, we are a bit far off having to decide though. He will probably go with his dad and brother and my dad and brother. Happy to tag along 🙂
