yes! Grooming is important.  It’s like cleaning your house before your Mother-In-Law comes over…>_>

I read a funny story about a lady who was late to her gyno appointment and hadn’t showered and felt awful so she snagged a rag off the bathroom counter and gave herself a good ‘wipe down’.  She gets to the gyno and he said ‘wow…were you feeling a little..festive?’  she laughed and didn’t get it.  When she got home and showered she realized her entire crotch was covered in glitter- she’d used a rag her daughter used to remove body glitter! So hilarious.

Good luck with your visit, don’t stress about the lump! Wait to hear what a doctor says =) Grats on the mirena!!

Haha! This made me laugh!  Yes, I do.

Meh, I wax regularly so it never gets too out of hand. I do try to book appointments in the morning so I’m there within a few hours of showering.

I don’t! I try to have my appts in the morning so I’m clean, but I rarely shave just for them. They’ve seen it all. I once had the nurse practitioner doing my pap say that she was happy to see that I don’t “take it all off,” if you know what I mean, since having a certain amount of hair promotes cleanliness.

Usually, yes. When I was pregnant, nope, didn’t care.

My Brother-In-Law is a doctor & says that they are so used to it, they don’t even notice whether it’s groomed or not. As long as you are clean, that’s all thats important. But personally, I still groom, lol.

I don’t explicitly wax or shave or anything for them but I make sure I’ve showered.

I only go a few days without shaving down there so it’s never bad, but I do shave the night before or morning of for sure before my appt.

Lol I had this dilemma for SURE the first time I went to the gyno. Let’s just say I wasn’t hardwood floors or anything but it wasn’t a jungle down there either! *think: 4 or 5 days of growth. I was trying to tow the line between porn-star hairless and granola natural. Hah! It’s funny to think that someone would judge you by your pubic hair, though.
