I think the 9×7 looks better on you.  It gives you good finger coverage; any of the bigger sizes would look costumey due to your small fingers.

11×9 with a halo is like 14×10.  It is a pretty big look.  I have a 14×10 oval and I wear a 6.5

This site lets you put in your stone dimensions and finger size, so you can see how things will look on your finger.  I am all for bigger stones, but your fingers are really small, and it can easily overwhelm your hand.  http://www.diamdb.com/

That’s going to look really big on you. I think the 10×8 with a halo will be plenty big

sheliap:  I agree with PPs that the 9×7 would look great but wouldn’t go any bigger than the 10×8. You have small fingers so everything is going to look huge on you! It’s a beautiful ring, congrats!!

jcent:  That’s an awesome tool!

sheliap:  I’m all for huge rocks, but honestly I think the 11×9 would look too big on a size 4 finger. It’s all about what you want, obviously, but since you’re asking.

I have a size 4, and my stone is 7mm. I’d go for the 10×8 if I were you.

I think the 9×7 would be great finger coverage for your engagement ring.

sheliap:  Agree with PPs who say that the 9x7mm option looks the best. The two bigger ones look like cocktail rings to me.

Mine is roughly 8.3×8.3mm on a 3.5 finger, and I’m a little self-conscious about it.

Even though I have an 11×9 stone myself…it doesn’t have a halo and my finger is slightly larger at 4.5. I’m clearly all for big honking stones – but I agree with PPs that with a halo the 11×9 may be too large and actually cover the width of your ring finger entirely. The 9×7 + halo may be about 11×9 so of course I’ll include pictures because….glitter

I would not go that huge for a morganite. It’s not a “forever” stone so you’d hit it on everything and just damage it.
