Mine is “oh happy day” and my hubby has incorporated into his lingo as well. It is usually used sarcastically. Now some of my students are using it too!

I used to say “Get Out” like Elaine from Seinfeld (my all time fave sitcom).  That one isn’t used as much anymore but if I start watching reruns again it’s sure to resurface.

My dad used to say this in place of swear words when really frustrated and now it’s resurfaced when I am a frustrated mommy “Confound it!”.

I say at work “fudge” alot.  There’s alot of “oh fudge” moments around there but don’t say it in front of patients for fear they think I’m saying the other f word!

I say fiddle sticks because my g-ma said it and it’s now officially my cuss word.

I also say OMG a lot but usually only in chats and online…not in regular conversations!

I say “yeah…suuuuureee” to my fiance when he’s coming up with some story or when I want to tease him. I don’t think that’s really a catch phase though.

One my my friends say “just kidding” after every single mistake she makes and it drives me bonkers!

That’s funny. There’s a girl at my work who says what you say all the time too. She is really annoying about it so anytime anyone else does it I instantly think of her.

Mine is- I say ‘Bitches’ a lot. For example: I’m going out tonight, bitches.

December – that’s so weird! I kind of do a similar thing that my Fiance also finds annoying. I’ll ‘claw’ his tummy and say ‘meow meow’. I’m usually just saying hi or want attention. He really hates it.

Karma007 – yeah, I say ‘seriously. seriously’ a lot. I think Greys made it worse.

I say whatevs or whateva a lot.

And I say “Really? Really??” whenever I find something ridiculous. So mostly when I’m driving. When someone’s being stupid or cut me off. I also say “You’ve gotta be freakin kidding me!” in those situations too.

Also “I kid you not!” 🙂

@thecolorteale, I say “Really?  Really???” ALL the time!

Also..”Seriously?!”

Yep….seems I find lots of things very hard to believe.

Someone already mentioned one I use, “I’m not gonna lie…”. I also say “bummer” a lot.  I work with kids, usually younger ones, and phrases like, “that sucks” and the like are usually not allowed. Somewhere I picked up using ‘bummer’ as a replacement.  If they are telling me something they are upset about, my response is “Oh that’s a bummer.” I apparently say it more than I realize too.  One evening I spent about 2 hours with a kiddo doing an evaluation.  A few days later he and his mom were back for his therapy, and we ran into each other.  She said, “So my son learned a new word from you.  He said it all night and the entire next day after we saw you, and his dad is asking where he learned it.”  Immediately I started to panic and try to think back to what I could have possibly said. She finally told me it was “bummer,” and I was so relieved it wasn’t anything they could really be mad over!

@lovesthebear, my coworker and i try to set up conversations so we can be the first to say, “that’s what she said.” it’s like a contest. lol

but yeah, it’s so frustrating to hear something and say it only to realize you’re around people who don’t watch it. i mean, really?!

My husband makes fun of me for saying “Mighty” a lot. As in “It’s mighty cold out today!”

I just realized I do have one as of late. I want to punch [whatever] in the nose. Or suggesting that other people punch in noses. lol

I’m from MA so the word “wicked” almost always works it’s way into every conversation. But lately, after hanging out with my cousin after she returned from school in North Carolina, I started saying “shoot” a LOT
