Do you have a tv in your bedroom?
DH and I are debating getting one for our bedroom. Neither of us need tv to sleep but every once and a while (like when I’m sick or we’re folding clothes) we wish we had one in there.
Just wondering if most do or dont. For those that dont, is there a reason? For those that do, any issues it creates?

yes, but it has not been cut on for about 5 months. I might as well not have it in there.

Yes, although it doesn’t get much use. I sometimes used to like to lay in bed and watch reruns of something before I went to bed. Once and a while we will watch something in bed instead of on the couch so we can snuggle better. We did spend an entire Sunday in bed watching all of the episodes of House of Cards on Netflix when it was cold out! So sometimes it’s useful!

Yes, but we rarely use it. Unless one of us is ill or are having a lazy Sunday in bed

We have a 26″ smart tv (for hulu and netflix) that we use in the workout room, it gets brought in to the bedroom when we want to watch a movie in bed, or either of us are sick and don’t feel like getting out of bed.

Yes, but the only time its used is when my SO wants to play video games and I want to watch television. We don’t really use it at night or anything. And we tend to watch movies together in the living room anyway.

We have one in there but it’s mainly because there was no other room to put it in. We have the Wii hooked up to it in case we decide to watch Netflix, but most of the time we just watch it in the living room.

We do — It does not create issues and having a TV helps us sleep quicker at night when one or both of us are restless.

Nope. When I’m sick I usually get tired of our bed and lay on our couch to watch TV there. The only time I want one is on lazy Saturdays but we just relocate to the living room 🙂

Yes, but it rarely gets used. The only time that we ever use it is if he has friends over and I don’t feel like hanging out with them and play video games.

@cooperlove: I think the bedroom is for sex and sleep. but! I love watching tv in bed when I’m in a hotel. It’s such a treat!!!

Yes, we each have always had tv in our bedrooms so when we moved in together it made sense. We watch it every night when we go to bed. I used to just watch it until I was tired then turn it off, but Fiance prefers to fall asleep to it, so now we usually both fall asleep to it and one of us shuts it off when we eventually wake up and it’s still on. Or I watch it til Fiance falls asleep then I shut it off. I’m sure we could figure out how to use the sleep timer but we’re too lazy.

Yes. Me and my husband are addicted to tv. It is only two of us, yet we have 4 tvs. Ridic I know. Luckily, it doesn’t hinder our intimacy.

Yes. I don’t use it much for watching though. I turn it on to help me sleep.

I had a TV in my bedroom when I lived with my mom (I think I got one in middle school and then a new one at some point in high school). I never watched it right before going to sleep, but I used it quite a bit just because I was a preteen/teenager and my bedroom was my own private space in the house.
I never had a TV in my bedroom during college, and I haven’t had one in my bedroom since I moved out completely on my own (and now living with my fiance). We do have a TV in our guest room now, but it doesn’t get much use. If we watch TV/movies with our guests, we use the big TV in the living room.
