I say no. Whenever my SO and I travel, he turns on the hotel room’s TV at like 8 am unless I remind him not to. It’s so annoying. He’s a morning person and I’m not. We also tend to go to bed fairly early, so it’s not like we’d watch shows at night anyway… or we’d get into a fight because one of us would be like “I just want to finish watching this!” etc. So, in a nutshell… not worth it for us lol.

I have one but I barely use it though. I only had it in there because when I first moved out my parents house I had a roommate and because she had no room in her room for a TV she always watched TV in the living room so I was forced to pretty much just stay in my room. Now a days I don’t really have a need for it unless I want to lay in bed and chill with the TV on.

We don’t have one in our room and we never will.
Bedrooms are for relaxing, reading, sleeping, sex and the occasional breakfast-in-bed. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yep! I enjoy watching TV in bed, and the background noise helps me fall asleep. The big TV that has all the consoles hooked up to it is in the living room, so if Fiance wants to play a video game and I want to watch a show, we don’t have to rock-paper-scissors-lizard-spock over it.

we actually have two – our apartment was furnished when we rented it & came with two tvs, but we already owned our big one that is now in the living room. the only place to put the others was directly in front of each other in the bedroom! looks a little weird.
only one of them is actually plugged in, obviously, but its not connected to any sort of aerial or cable or whatever it is that magically makes tv work, so we can only use it to watch dvds. it’s pretty much exclusively a ‘sick day’ tv, the rest of the time i forget that it’s there. it’s good where we’re living now because it’s super hot and the bedroom is the smallest room with the best air conditioner, so if I’m feeling sick & homesick, i shut myself in with the air conditioning turned right up and enjoy the luxury of needing a blanket! but back in Australia, we never needed a bedroom tv because we had an awesomely comfy couch so sick days were spent on that.

If I had one, I’d never get to sleep. Netflix on my iPad is distracting enough.

Yes.. we believe in going to bed together but I fall asleep much later than him, so the t.v. helps with this 🙂

Didnt used to, but my mom just moved out leaving the house to me and Fiance and we took over her room, which happens to have a tv in it. The only time I ever use it is when I’m alone at night (FI works 3rd shift) and I’m getting ready for bed.

We don’t have one in the bedroom. I think we get much better quality time that way.
