DoubleD :  There are class action lawsuits against them because it made their hair start falling out, damaged hair, etc. And class action lawsuits against their unethical business practices as well.

somathemagical :  Honestly, no I haven’t.  She was into it before we met.  We’re neighbors.  She’s so sweet, but legit she has a big family and she’s now their sole breadwinnner.  He should not have quit his job.  But I guess it seemed all good a year or so ago.  Not so much anymore.

sboom :  Yeah, I didn’t know what it was when we first met. But we’ve read all the stuff on it now.  I remember when the articles started coming out about not refunding as promised or something and my friend did a whole facebook video about how LLR was a good company and she even cried because of how good it had been to her family.  I don’t know…it really is awful.

somathemagical :  Another point, she’s a stay at home mom with 5 kids.  So I’ve never met her other friends.  We got to know eachother because we are neighbors.  But she spends her time at church and going to kids stuff.

sboom :  one of DH’s friends used to sell Younique. She’s from his old hometown, so luckily I didn’t get invited to any parties, although she did invite me to a few Facebook ones which I never even looked at. The worst part was, when we did finally get to see her, all she did was talk about it! Now I am big into makeup so I see why she might have thought I was a potential client, but the stuff I use is better and cheaper. I’ve been to a younique party before I met her and wasn’t impressed with the samples I used.

Anyway, that’s not even the worst part. We ended up becoming close, so she was part of my wedding party. I casually mentioned to her that I was hiring a makeup artist for myself and let her know that if she wanted to, she can also have her do her makeup. Instead of just politely declining, she kind of acted offended and was like “I like the way I do my makeup…” Yeah, so do I but it’s nice to have a professional do it on my wedding day!! Haha I think she was legitimately mad that I didn’t buy a bunch of products and have her do our wedding day makeup. No thanks, she wasn’t even a licensed makeup artist!!! Then, while I was sitting in the chair getting my makeup done, she started a conversation with my makeup artist about how she sells younique! I could tell my makeup artist was a bit put off by that, and after no one asked her more about her products, she finally left the room to go change. Funny thing is, I haven’t seen her post in a very long time about younique and it used to be a daily occurrence. Wonder why that is? 🤷🏼‍♀️😉 haha

chocolateplease :  Did you know that they don’t actually BUY them those cars? It is a bonus towards the lease/payments of the car. Depending on their “level” that determines the amount MK and Arbonne and others will pay on the lease/payment.

They then HAVE to throw a party to celebrate! It’s such a fucking scam I literally am sickened by it.
