Yes, if being able to hang a spoon from my nose counts.

I used to play the violin but I haven’t in years so I wouldn’t consider that a talent!

I pick up languages very easily but that’s about it!

I can sing and play guitar. I used to do it for a living, need to get back at it, those were the days *sigh*

I play flute/piccolo. I studied music in college, and originally wanted to be a professional musician. I convinced myself I’d not make good money that way, so instead I got a degree in journalism…which is laughable since the newspaper industry is now dying at a not-so-slow pace. 😛

I think I’m pretty ok at sewing and crafting. I have an Etsy shop where I sell geeky diaper covers.  My husband seems to be a jack-of-all-trades, though: juggling, yo-yo (all sorts of crazy tricks!), disc golf, singing, woodworking, cooking, climbing, snowboarding…I can only hope our kid gets his motor skills and not mine. I’m doing good to chew gum and walk at the same time!

Like one PP said, I think I’m more of a jack of all trades than a master at something.  I not super good at one thing, but I’m pretty good at a lot of things.  I can play the piano fairly well (though I’m extremely shy about it), salsa dance, I am fairly crafty, and am pretty athletic (I lettered in volleyball, tennis, and lacrosse in high school and I played softball and basketball for years).  I’m also very outdoorsy (I can back-country camp, canoe, rock climb, mountain climb, fish a little, et.).

But my weirdest talent is that I can attract bears like nobody’s business.  90% of the time when I venture into the wilderness during non-hibernating season, I encounter a bear.  It’s kind of ridiculous.

There are lots of things I wish I were better at though.  I suck at doing my make-up and hair, I’m not a very good cook, and I really wish I could play the guitar.  I took lessons for a while but never really caught on.  I also wish I could speak another language.  I took Spanish in high school, but I’ve forgotten most of it.

I am an expert at untying and untangling knots of all kinds (string, shoelaces, necklaces, yarn, etc.)

I know how to tie very pretty bows and am constantly asked by my friends and co-workers to tie their sashes/ribbons.

I am a decent (mostly self-taught) graphic designer and I am great at editing and correcting photos.

    I play saxophone.

    I decorate cakes.

And I can say the alphabet backwards super fast…like in 5 seconds!

@Mimoza:  I’m a decent cook, play a few instruments and sing, and am really into crafts.

I’m really good at learning languages–I speak 6 languages (English, Russian, Spanish, Polish, French & Italian) & can read to varying levels a few more (Ukrainian, OCS, etc.).  I have an OPI score or Proficiency for Russian & French & will be taking my Italian Proficiency exam in the Spring.

Can’t sing worth a damn though. That’s one talent I really really wish I had, but everyone in my family sounds like someone is strangling a cat.

Singing (I’m a coloratura soprano) and drawing (with Prismacolors).

ETA: Oh, and I’m also good a mimicking pitches and such in voices, so when I’m learning a language (my best are French and Japanese), I can sound relatively native.

Music is a talent I’ve had since I can remember. I can play many instruments by ear without being trained, and have very accurate pitch when singing.

Artistic things are another talent. I love to draw and can shade with pencils really well.
