Well, I guess “enemy” is a pretty strong word
What I mean is, are there certain posters or topics that you avoid in order to deter confrontation?
Example: You know based on a certain posters previous history that the two of you have vastly different opinions on certain topics. So in order to avoid arguing with a faceless stranger you refuse to post on their threads or refuse to post in threads that have a good chance of becoming heated in order to avoid a certain poster?
Disclaimer: PLEASE do NOT mention specific names, I don’t want anyone to feel targeted. Also, please do not make a reference to a specific thread. I don’t want this one to get shut down, I am just genuinely curious about this.

@jaylinjo: Yes! I can think of three or four people off the top of my head. If I see them, I RUN!

There are a few who will take offense no matter the topic – rather than moving on if they can’t handle gentle or constructive criticism whatsoever, they choose to argue with each poster instead of just moving on. The go-to phrase in these situations seem to be, “You don’t know me! You don’t know my situation!” Well, of course not. It’s amusing how that’s never thrown at the people who agree with them. On a forum, you have to take everyone’s comments with a grain of salt, even in the affirmative – they’re hearing only a small part of the equation.
I avoid one in particular. I’ve watched fights unfold in thread after thread of hers. I have given her advice in the past – that if she can’t handle someone disagreeing, she doesn’t need to be here. At the least, not responding to posters if she can’t graciously accept a differing opinion is a start.

@CookieCreamCakes: +1 to this:

I could not agree with this more!

I’m sure a couple of people think of me as one. 😛

Hmm… there are certain individuals who have cropped up here and there that I avoid, but generally they don’t end up sticking around the Bee anyway.
There’s also a couple Bees I remember getting ticked at for some reason, but now I have zero memory as to what it was, so I let it go. Hah.
I remember not being a fan of Hyperventilate when she first came on, but now she’s totally one of my faves (which is the only reason I am stating her name). I think he bluntness was a bit startling to me at first, but now I love it. She’s cool.
So I don’t try to make blanket assumptions of posters.

There’s a few who I see their avatar and roll my eyes, but for the most part I acknowledge that it’s an online forum full of different types of people with totally different attitudes, ideals and opinions so I try to ignore them.

I had a few a long while back but honestly agree with them more often than I don’t. I guess it was like getting off on the wrong foot kind of thing…but not a single person that I can think of who I feel that way about now.
There are def some threads I should stay out of. But curiosity gets the best of me…I’ll just not post if I know it’s just asking for trouble.

Back around the election there were a few poster whom I was NOT a big fan of… Mostly forgotten who though, haha.

@Duncan: You’re the only (regular) man in a kingdom of women! We have to love you, at least a little!

On another website, a weight loss website, it here was one girl who just seemed polar opposite of me. I hate to be petty, but she started it every time. I would post, and she would follow up with something snarky or to the contrary. Eventually she just blocked me because she “couldn’t wrap her head around my point of views” whatever! Good riddance to old rubbish!

There are some that I avoid just because of how snarky they are. I am all for honesty, and when I post on this site, I’m aware that not everyone will share my opinion, but you can be honest without being snarky.

I went to school with one of the Bees on here and everytime I see her threads, I keep thinking to myself if people only knew how mean this woman really is. She picked on me in real life and I have to roll my eyes when I see her talking about how nice she is on here.

Meaning some topics that you should stay out of? I definitely avoid topics more than certain posters. For example – Moissy vs. Diamond. I know it’s just going to be the exact same ugly thread that’s been done a hundred times before.

There is someone who misreads my replies and hits me on it. Sort of funny because we actually agree but she gets hot under the collar because she doesn’t read what I wrote! Ah, well…..
