No… in Korea it’s somewhat popular to use TP for practically everything you’d use tissues or napkins for around the house and we pretty much jumped on that bandwagon.

Can’t people just blow their nose on the TP if they have to?

I keep tissue boxes everywhere in the house. There is one in each bathroom (2), there is one on the kitchen counter, and one on each of our desks. We keep a total of five tissue boxes stocked in the house, plus toilet paper, plus a box of baby wet wipes in each bathroom.

Convenience and comfort is huge in my household.

ETA for above: People absolutely use toilet paper to wipe their noses/wipe general messes. We use Charmin toilet paper and I’ve noticed that if we’re sick (Mucusy nose for example), toilet paper is really rough on us and tends to disentigrate in our hands. We use puffs tissues with aloe. We also have a cat who has damaged sinus passages and she is literaly a booger fountain. If I use TP/Paper towels, her nose dries out real fast and small tears appear on the sides of her nose. If I use the “frilly tissues”, she doesn’t bleed and is a lot more comfortable.

One in each bedroom (4) and one in the family room and living room. In the three bathrooms I guess I expect people to use Charmin UltraSoft! My parents keep tissues in their bathrooms; we don’t have the counter space.

I keep one in my guest bathroom, but none in my ensuite. No particular reason either.

The only place in the house where I have one is on my night stand.

My parents always kept tissues in every bathroom. I keep them there, but I only ever buy them when one of is sick and will go through too much toilet paper. For every day nose blowing issues though, we just use tp.

Our apartment is really small, and there is a tissue box in every room except the bathroom – so i never saw a need to put one in the bathroom.

Yep! One in each bathroom, one in our main living area, and we used to have one in each guest room. One guest room is in transition to a baby room, but it will probably have a box after that.

To be honest, if I’m in the bathroom I often use toilet paper instead haha.

Yes, there is a box in each bathroom (3), a box on my nightstand, and a box in the family room. I singlehandedly keep Proctor & Gamble in business.

We keep a box on the back of the toilet in our only bathroom, a box on my FI’s desk in our bedroom, and one on the bookshelf in the living room.  I don’t like using toilet paper for blowing my nose because we use Scott, whereas our tissues are the nice cushy ones that feel much better on the nosey.

No, but I also get the softest, fluffiest kind of TP for my hooha, soooo it’s pretty nice if I need to blow my nose in it.
