Ugh, I have people who do that and I’m just like… ummmm okay… like one of my bridesmaids likes to text me to tell me what she’s eating or drinking… or when she has stomach problems… thanks.

Hmmm. I sometimes feel like I have a story for EVERYTHING. So I just throw in my two cents regardless. But I don’t realize it! I swear 🙁

I do this all the time. I’m very socially awkward though, and came to terms with it years ago. I don’t overshare Too Much Information stuff, but my mind does wander. My husband says all the time “What does that have to do with what we’re talking about?!” because I might randomly blurt out something like “Did you know that a snail can sleep for 3 years?”

One of my co-workers does that. especially about random people I don’t know even exist.

Her: “OMG! So, Jane totally booked her holiday to Iceland for a month! I’m happy AND disappointed”

Me: uh…. Who is Jane?

Her: My massage therapist!!!!! (saying it like I am SUPPOSED to know this person)

Me: uh… good for her?

@.twist. – same bridesmaid – same story – she is always going on about “Roger” or “Joey” who I’ve never met… so weird!

@firsttimemom: I’m the Exact same way. I always seem to know a former news report, or scientific study, or just some story about something.  That’s why I’ve learned to stay quiet around people.

@KatyElle: My Fiance does that a lot.  I’ll ask him a question such as ,’What do you think when I do this?’ or ‘Do you like doing that?’  And he’ll respond, ‘You know my co-worker did this really dumb thing at work’  Then I’ll realize he didn’t hear me and was off in lala land o.0  It makes for pretty funny conversations lol cause none of it makes sense.

I think I am guilty of this! Embarassed My head is full of useless facts which happen to come out. Usually it is because something the person is saying has reminded me of something else somehow and I find the need to mention it right then and there. (Sorry world!)
