I have an entire gallery wall surrounding my couch..and there are only 2 “pictures” on the entire wall. I would have more, because I like the mixture but we just don’t have any good pictures of DH and I and i’m not one for hanging a million wedding pictures up. I might put up one when I get them printed but thats about it, I have one of our e-pics and one of us on our 1 year dating anniversary so far lol

We have a good combination of bogh. We have some artistic prints and some family photos. Most of my friends houses are the same. I don’t think it has to be one way or the other. I think a combination is pretty typical. Not that one is more right than the other, I just think most people have a few family pictures up in their homes.

In my 20s, I had pictures everywhere. In recent years, I’ve been into art and less clutter (so fewer picture frames on surfaces). I still love photos of friends/family, but they are mostly in our bedroom.

We have both! I’m a bit of a photographer myself so I have an entire wall in our living room that’s a bunch of my 8x10s. Another wall is specifically my “leaf series”. (I love autumn). I made a huge wall clock in the kitchen where instead of numbers there are pictures of DH and my family through the years. I’m still waiting for my framed wedding pictures but there will be a ton of them to hang!
I’m not a fan of hanging random art/prints that is sold by the thousands and has no meaning to me. I’d rather cover my walls with personal memories. :]

We have an entire wall filled with just family photos in our dining room, framed pics of friends and our doggie in the living room, & various art scattered throughout.

We’ve got a little bit of both! I love pictures of friends and family, so we can always have a reminder of some great times, but I also like having art around. So I try to balance it pretty evenly.

No photos of us 🙁 We move bi-yearly and realtors say that in order for buyers to picture themselves in a house, they shouldn’t see pictures of you. So we never put them up. We have some really neat artwork though!

We have tons of pics of ourselves right in our living room when you walk in the front door, when Fiance proposed to me he did it with a bunch of pictures (12 to be exact) that were of us from all different times and had words hidden i them writing out “will you marry me?” and they are up in our living room so everytime we sit in that room we can see them and it brings me back to that moment, its amazing! Plus also have pics of randon art and stuff too but the ones of us are my fave!

We’ve got both. We love buying art to start our collection together but we’ve also go pictures of us and friends/family. When we go on vacations (mostly around our province) we try to pick up a print or two that remind us of the trip. We’ve added those and a lot of wedding pictures to a big photo wall in our dining area of black frames.
