Apparently I spoke too soon! I just realized I lost one on my wedding band (which I’ve had for 2.5 months). My jeweler will replace them for no charge, I’ll see tomorrow when I take it in how long I’ll be without my ring .

I have a blue nile micro pave for about 8 months now and no diamonds lost 🙂

@Britt214: Huzzah! Glad to hear it! Haha. From what I understand they’re a pretty well known and reputable jeweler.

I currently have 4 pave rings in total. One ring lost one small stone years ago. I returned it to the jeweller and it was replaced, no fuss, no muss. It happens (occasionally). That was a long time ago and the ring has been fine ever since. My other 3 rings have never lost a stone – ever and they are constant wear.
Sizing might pose problems (I think that is likely the reason why I lost the small stone), but it obviously did not mean the rest of the ring was at risk or compromised.
Wear pave and wear it a lot. lol!

@womanofsubstance: I like your thinking! I plan on wearing a lot! I try to pretend that I’m a simple, graceful and understated gal but the truth is that I like bold and blingy! Haha. I’m happy to hear that your problems with pave are minimal. Team Pave!

I adore my micropave ring. But yes, I do have a lot of issues with it and its really starting to get to me. I have lost 4 of the little stones on the band part of my ering so far- and I am INCREDIBLY careful with it. I have a ring holder for it that is made out of foam and a pintack it sits on, and I take it off and put it on this holder when I sleep, shower, wash my hands, do dishes, workout, ANYTHING where it might touch something or get hit or get wet/wore down. Still. I keep losing them and having to take it into the jewelers. I’ll never get anything besides my micropave though- no matter how frustrating it gets. I couldn’t be any more careful than I already am, but I’ll deal with that because I personally think micropave are stunning

I actually am having problems with my pave ring- I have already replaced three stones and 2 weeks away from getting married and noticed another one. In my case… the pave stones are all the way up to the prongs and that’s where they come out. I have included a pic so you can see the hole.

I actually had someone try to talk me out of a pave setting because of stones falling out… Having said that- no stones lost in mine! I wear mine to the gym, however I do take it off when cleaning and doing dishes! My ring is from Bernie Robbins Jewelers and I feel it is impeccibly made!

I have a pave wedding band from blue nile, have only worn it for 3 months and i just noticed a stone has fallen out and is lost. Beware blue nile will not replace or repair diamonds which fall out due to wear and tear even though they advise rings only need to be checked every 6 months.
