I bet tons of brides have dreams like that!  I never had a “vision” of my wedding either, but I am having frequent dreams as it approaches.  Last night I dreamt that my venue burned down and I had to move my wedding to a hotel that was hosting a childrens’ pageant.  When I went to get ready, for the ceremony, I found that my dress had been somehow switched with a child’s pageant dtress!  I also had the moment of realization that I was completely ungroomed.  Then I realized that I had no idea where my bridesmaids were!

I’m sure it’s all completely normal and your day will go beautifully!

I’m not engaged yet and I have these dreams. It’s ranged from my dad only giving me some miniscule amount of money to pay for it to no one showing up and having everything I wanted there not be there. That second one is just so anger-inducing. No one shows up. I don’t have any of the things I wanted – flowers, hair, shoes, people. I even get angry thinking about it. Bad subconscious!

I had my first one about a month ago.

My brother dropped me off @ some random hotel in the high desert. Everything was white w/ bright red accents (flowergirl’s dress, bm dresses, etc.), but in real life our colors are tiffany & chocolate. I showed up 30 mins before the ceremony was supposed to start w/ no make-up or hair done & could not find a soul to help me get ready, I woke up in a panic, lol.

I haven’t had one since, but I don’t anticipate that being the last one between now & Oct 🙂

Yes. I’ve been having them for over a year, ever since we got engaged.

I have been having them for the past year but since the wedding is so close I have one every time I take a nap LOL. My latest one is that hardly anyone shows up and people are so bored that they leave. My mother even had them too.

my worst was that my mom changed everything to pink. I mean EVERYTHING. it was like getting married in a bottle of pepto- and she wanted me to like it so bad! And I kept loosing my DIY boxes, which were the only non pink items. In my dream she even changed my dress with dye! I was so sad and I didn’t want to tell her! It was so wierd because IRL, my mom was really laid back about me getting what I wanted, and was just happy that I was happy!

Yup totally had these dreams. And it got worse as the wedding got closer. I frequently had dreams that no one could find my dress or shoes, probably because the dress shop took so long to finally get my dress in. I also dreampt that I hadn’t showered, didn’t have makeup on or my hair done and needed manicure/pedicure.

On my actual wedding day, of course none of this happened. It was so hot outside though that before the cermeony I felt like I needed a second shower, but there was no time.

Yep, just had a dream last night that the hotel we’re having the wedding at burned down so we had to have it at my parents’ house, inside, since it was raining.  After the crammed ceremony finished, my uncles threw me in the pool in my wedding dress!  (I get thrown in the pool at nearly every family gathering, fine if it’s a backyard BBQ, not fine if it’s my wedding!)

I started a post about this yesterday. I didnt realize that there were so many other wedding nightmare posts. lol. So needless to say, I am having them too. Here is my original post to give you an idea of my crazy dreams.

So I have been having nightmares about my upcoming wedding. Its a little scary since my wedding is not until May! I am hoping that they dont get worse the closer we get to the wedding. The nightmares are pretty much the same with little differences here and there. The one thing that stays consistent is that the groom is always MISSING! In all the dreams, I can not find the groom and end up having to pull some random person from the audience to marry. WTF?!?!? Other things that happen:

I forget to pay the caterer so there is no food

The caterer just forgets to show up

I forget its my wedding day all together and am not prepared at all

I forget to get a marriage license

I forget my dress

The wedding is boring so I just decide to take off and leave all the guests there

etc, etc, etc!!!!!!

In one dream, I forgot everybodies clothes and the groom (who was not my acutal fiance because I could not find him) had to wear a plaid, baby blue tux and I had to wear this old, ugly lace frock.

UGGGGG!!!! I do not even feel that stressed out with planning this wedding. I am still 9 months out. Is this going to get worse when I actually do get stressed?

I keep having them as the wedding gets closer. The latest one is that the seamstress altered my dress to above-ankle length and so I had a highwater wedding dress!

Had my first one last night.  I was all ready to go – in my dress, make up done, getting ready to leave, and I realized that I had forgotten to go to my hair appointment and still had bed head.  How anyone would actually forget to do their hair on their wedding day, I have no idea.  But it was obviously related to my procrastinating on finding a hair stylist and making an appointment – I finally called a couple places today.
