I think all women should be able to be a part of wedding bee, old and young, married or single. I think everyone has some wisdom to give and it’s good to be able to get opinions from all walks of life 🙂

They probably don’t feel that they have to leave, they may just want some time away from people talking about weddings!

I think there are several single ladies on here! It’s nice to have their perspectives on certain things.

You don’t HAVE to have a SO, but I personally can’t imagine being on this forum without one.

There are plenty of aspects of this forum (especially the non-wedding related topics!!!) that could be very relevant to an individual weather they have a SO or not. I don’t see any reason why you would need to be “attached” to participate in many of the discussions here.

I think that some people probably leave the Bee temporarily if they end a relationship to avoid wedding talk. But no, I don’t think you have to have a SO to be on here. I would have joined when I was single if I had known about it.

@magnoliafine:  I agree, but I feel that it would be painful to be on here if I wasn’t planning a wedding. I didn’t go through a real “waiting” period before the proposal (we talked everything through and decided we would get engaged within the year), but I think if I were really waiting, I would NOT want to be on here. It would have just made me obsessed with engagements and proposals and it probably would have been detrimental to my relationship with Fiance.
