No, you don’t have to offer a red meat option. We are having salmon and Cornish game hens for our meat dishes.

No, you are under no obligation to serve a specific type/category of meat.

We’re only doing 1 meat option, it will be chicken because I figure that’s the most universal thing people would like to eat.

If you are paying for the wedding, do whatever you want! You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to/ can’t afford. Although red meat is a courtesy/ etiquette rule, Red meat is also a much heavier meal item, your guests might actually appreciate a lighter food such as chicken or pork at a mid-July wedding.

You can serve whatever you please.

We are giving our guests the option of beef or fish.  Of course, if anyone eats kosher, vegan, etc. we will make sure they are accommodated.

We’re doing a pasta bar, meatballs, chicken kabobs.  Buffet style.  I don’t think you’re under any obligation to serve red meat.  Can you do a fish or some kind of vegetarian option?

Nope!  We’re doing chicken and “catch of the day.”  If I had to choose just one, I would probably go with chicken.

No, there will be guests who don’t eat red meat but I don’t see there being a problem with guests only eating red meat, at least I’ve never heard of that.

I probably would not do chicken and turkey, but I think chicken and pork or chicken and fish would be fine.

We won’t be having red meat either.  FI worries that it won’t be cooked enough for most people to enjoy.  We’ll have a chicken dish and a fish.

No, it’s fairly common to go to events with an option of chicken or fish (or vegetarian).
