My mom made me this adorable little blue drawstring jewelry bag for Christmas one year. It has pretty little crystals and peals on the ribbons, which serve as the “drawstrings.” Anyway, it’s so pretty, and I’ve been using it to hold my bridal jewelry. Does that count as my “something blue”? Or does it have to be something I’m wearing?
I’ve also considered using one of my favorite perfumes, D&G Light Blue. Then I would be wearing something “blue”!
My thing is, most of my jewelry is already decided on, so I don’t want to switch it out for something blue. What do the bees think?

You aren’t required to even have a something blue. Do what you want. If you donn’t want to wear anything blue, that is your choice and no one has the right to make you feel bad about it.

All these bees are right, it is YOUR wedding, you make the rules. I love the idea that your something blue is an item that holds such meaning for you and for your Mom. How thrilled she will be when she sees it holding your jewelry. My eyes are watering up just thinking about it.
