That’s so cute! I love it! I haven’t figured out what I’ll do, but something definately creative like your idea. Yours is great. 🙂  I may go with the common cake thing…I’ll make a cake and write a message on the icing like, “Hello Daddy” or something. lol

That’s a freaking awesome idea!  I love it.  I have never thought about how I’d tell him.  I imagine I’d probably just blurt it out, but I’d like to do something cute like that!  I know when I tell my parents it will be with a sonogram in a frame.

lol that is cute. it probably depends on how i think he’ll react! haha. If it is unexpected then it’ll probably just be “okay-im-prego-but-itll-be-ok-seriously” 🙂 If we’re trying ill do something more creative. maybe give him a baby jersey for his fav team

Whatever you do, don’t do what my friend’s wife did to him – it was his bday and she baked him a cake. Inside the cake, wrapped in a plastic zip lock bag, was her pregnancy test. Umm… GROSS!!!

we’ve basically decided at some point we are just going to stop not trying (i won’t take the pill anymore), but not actively “try” unless we had no luck in like 3 years. i would love to do something cute, but have a feeling i’ll take a test, it will come up positive, i’ll throw the test at him (yeah..probably should try NOT do do that) and say something like “oh s**t!”.

p.s. i would be excited..that’s just how i tend to react to things!

LOL yeah my friend’s wife is a little out there… but when he told me about it, he acted like it was perfectly normal. Who knows, maybe that is the norm with them!

I always wanted to reenact that scene from Full House, where Becky makes uncle Jesse dinner… baby carrots, baby corn… then announces she’s preggers with twins. 🙂

@said8me: Hahaha that scene was playing in my head, when I read that title! I just couldn’t remember what show it was actually from.

@blondeebuckeye: I’m totally cracking up! I was reading all the super-cute ideas and thinking “I”ll probably start screaming and flip out and say that I’m knocked up in the most un-romantic/special way ever” haha 😉

I love all the cute ideas, I just can’t imagine that I would be creative (or of sound mind enough) to do something super cute! Not that we’d not be happy, that’s by NO means what I’m saying, just that I don’t react well…even to our proposal I ended up being “that” girl who jokingly rolled her eyes and said “I guess” and apparently ruined the story for the future (or so I’m told by others…). I’m so awkward in serious situations 🙂
