Old: my grandmothers diamond is in my wedding band and I’m wrapping my rosary from my first communion around my flowers

New: all my jewelry, shoes, etc.

Borrowed: this is the one I don’t have yet!

Blue: my engagement ring is a sapphire!

I already had my wedding, but some of mine kind of overlapped categories: (pics below)

Something old and borrowed (I had a hard time with this one): my grandmother’s two gold bangles what my mom had [old and borrowed], and my elephant bangle that a former neighbor gave to me years ago [old]. (I am not sure how old those two truly are, and don’t have the best pics of all the bangles)

Something Blue: My dog’s name tag that passed away a few years ago.

I wore a lot of something new: My dress, my earrings and hair piece.

I even had a sixpence for my shoe, but in the end I forgot to wear it in my shoe.

My shoes are my something blue, I am borrowing a bracelet from my stepmom given to her from my dad, my something new is my dress, and my something old I need to get from my grandpa. I’d like to have something of my grandma’s but don’t know what yet. I haven’t had much time to ask since I thought it was too soon and didn’t want to upset him

My something old was a ring which belonged to my late grandmother.

Something new was the dress, shoes, jewellery, etc

Something borrowed was the hoop underskirt, which my cousin lent me

Something blue was my shoes and my flowers

I borrowed my grandmother’s engagement ring from my mom, who wears it every day. It’s an aquamarine from the 1940s – so it fits the old, borrowed, and blue criteria! I also wore my other grandmother’s pearl necklace. And new blue heels!

I’m not engaged yet so I’ve only thought about this breiefly but my something old will be a ring that belonged to my great grandmother. I found it in the grandmothers stuff after she passed away. It’s costume jewlery but to know my great grandmother wore it is enough for me!
