I know his because he uses one for everything. He knows 1 or 2 of mine, but I don’t use the same passwords for everything. We only shared them because we needed to log on the the others account (ie he wanted to check the reward points on my credit card so I gave him the pword)

Nope, and I have no interest in looking at his accounts.

We use each other’s computers a lot, and just out of habit, we let the computer save our log in information. Sometimes we need to get into each other’s accounts, like if he’s away from internet access and needs some information from his email inbox, etc.

Yes, he has the same password for just about everything. We also use each other’s computers frequently and email account, facebooks are left open. We obviously have nothing to hide from each other.

Nope, they’re his passwords.  I know a lot of people say that they often need to pop into each other’s email or facebook to retreive information, but this has literally never happened with us!

ETA: I don’t think that not having each other’s passwords has anything to do with whether the other person has anything to hide or that there’s a lack of trust (if anything, I feel that it’s the more likely to be other way around).

No, he is very protective of his passwords and does not share. I know he’s not hiding things from me, he’s just very security-minded.

Yes, because I had to set up his accounts for him haha! When I met him he was never online, didn’t have a facebook, had one email that was just nothing but spam.

I don’t spy on his accounts though, but I do know all the info because I manage everything online (like our Netflix, Apple account, banking, etc.)

    We share one computer.

We do, but for totally innocent reasons. For example, we obviously share a Netflix account, but the account was my husband’s before we got married so we use his email and password to login. Things like that.

He’s told me his “password algorithm” before (it’s different for each site) but I’ve never made a point to remember it.

He’s told me before so I could log in to his accounts to check things or do things for him, but I can never remember it.

i know his password for his computer login, and for his cell phone, but not for FB, email, etc. I never needed to know, so I never asked. He doesn’t know mine either.

He uses the same one for everything so yes. I’ve never had to log into his email but I have logged into his fantasy teams to set his line-up, print out groupons, that kind of thing. I don’t know if he knows mine… I use 3-4 so it’s less likely.

    No, I don’t have a need.

Now my ex husband…yes. He cheated, and our marriage counselor suggested a complete open policty on accounts to prove he wasn’t doing anything.

But that didn’t matter, he continued to cheat anyway.

Yupp. I keep mine written down and he uses the same one for everything. The man’s seen me poop for heavens sake, we have NO secrets. *facepalm*
