I do!! We got engaged this past Sunday!! We were at this cute little farm on a 5 mile walking trail next to Lake Champlain. We took some self-shots and then a nice couple came by the trail 15 minutes later and took some of us 🙂 These are my favorite pictures of us.
My new Fiance also took some pictures of me with my hands in the air acting all sorts of crazy with excitement but those are staying off the internet.

I’m waaay to embarressed to post it on here, but I actually have a video of the proposal. My sister also put a little video together with us calling everyone and so forth. I probably watch it more than I should 🙂

I just read yours where it said that he proposed on his birthday. That’s what McGroom did too. He said I was the only present he wanted for his 35th birthday.

Here is a pic of the proposal. I had just gotten home from a bike ride and came home to this. While I stood there in disbelief, my fiance came into the room and got down on one knee…
After we went out to dinner in Boston, we took this pic in the subway ride home…

My finance proposed at the restaurant we had our 1st date at. He was very cool in insisting that my 2 daughters be there. He couldnt fully get down on 1 knee, since my 7 yo spilled an entire mug of shirley temple on the floor…hahaha

We drove to Wilistead Manor a beautiful mansion in a park that I adored. Danny asked me to stay in the car while he left for a couple minutes. When he came back he guided me to a tree that had a canvas painting hanging from it. It was wrapped with brown paper wrapping and as I tore it he began to tell me how much I meant to him and how he took the time to paint me this picture. It was an abstract painting, done actually very well. We then proceeded to walk to another tree where another larger wrapped canvas was waiting. I eagerly went to unwrap it when Danny told me to wait. He began to tell me romantic, loving things but I didn’t hear a word. My mind was racing and I was wondering where all this was going. At the end I heard “ok, now you can open it!” And I did! It was another painting but this time he had painted “Will you marry me?” Of course the answer was yes, actually my screams! He presented me with the most amazing ring and gave me a romantic speech about how he planned on making all my dreams come true. I toned in and out as I was examing my dream ring! When we turned around, our friends came out from behind the trees. They had been taking pictures the entire time!

He renacted one of our first dates to macaroni grill where we were drawing all over the table cloth with crayons about us and our time together. He slaved all day in the kitchen making homemade lasagna and white wine! While we were coloring I moved my plate to get more space, unfolded the table cloth and there it was already written out in crayon with a stick man “Will you marry me?” I cried for a few minutes and finally said “Yes!” I never even gave him the chance to say a word!
