i think that it’s a compliment when people ask to try mine on. mine is loose on my finger, so it slides on and off really easily. I don’t mind letting them try it on. ANd then when I see how much they love the ring on their finger and how it sparkles, it makes me love the ring even more!

My sister has tried it on when I showed it to her but she’s my sister! No one else has and will not.

No way. No how. It’s mine & you’ll have to pry it off my cold, dead hand.

A couple of my close friends have tried my ring on and it doesn’t bother me. I guess it might bother me if someone I’m not close to or fond of asked.
Before my fiance proposed, he showed the ring to a friend of mine who doesn’t always understand boundries and she put it on. My fiance was SO PISSED that I wasn’t the first person to put it on. I don’t think he has forgiven her yet, lol.

My mom and I sometimes try each other’s on just for fun. It’s kind of pointless though- her finger is a 4 1/2- 5, mine is a six.

I have let my best friend and sisters try it on. They are all engaged anyway but wanted to try it on. I would never let anyone else try it on though.

I would feel rude saying no. And as long as it wasn’t a stranger off the street I can’t imagine I’d have a problem with it. My little niece trys mine on a lot.

I have been asked multiple times by different people and I politely say “No”. I tell them I’m superstitious. Plus, I just don’t like the idea of handing over my precious ring to someone to try on.

I’ve had a bunch of girls try it on. I’m the first of my friends to get engaged, though, so that might be why. I also offer, since I know that I would have jumped at the chance to try on an engagement ring before he popped the question.

I am superstitious and I didn’t think anything of it when my friend asked to try it onL Later, when I told my FH, he said it was badluckL The good thing is, she couldn’t fit the ring on her ring finger, so she only tried it on her pinky…is that okay then??
