When you have a yeast infection and have sex with your partner they also get that yeast infection although they may not have the symptoms. So while you are on antibiotics to clear it, your parter will just pass it back never actually getting rid of it.
I always let my Fiance know whats going on with my body. No matter how gross, embarassing etc, he has a right to know because it may affect him and if it doesn’t, he can at least support me while I’m trying to get better.

Yes, I absolutely tell him. I don’t whisper it in his ear while we start getting frisky, but I tell him at an appropriate time. I don’t want to spread a yeast infection to him. Sometimes I try to be subtle so just mention what med I picked up at the pharmacy. When I had an IUD he drove me to get it, so he knew that I had it. Plus, Too Much Information, once he felt it.

I’m going with other. I’m not embarrassed but he doesn’t want to know. He didn’t have any sisters so he’s terrible with girl stuff.

@tiff-tiff-tiff: I do, but we live together. He also gets to know when I have diarrhea and when I feel my period coming on. Heh.

I tell him because most times its something he need to know. If i’m on antibiotics then it effects birth control. Sometimes it something that I find out because of other symptoms. I went to urgent care once with shooting stomach and back pains and it turned out I had a bad UTI that was starting to go up into my kidneys so ofcourse he knew because i woke up screaming in pain. Then recently I was on 2 different antibiotics for a while for a UTI and it gave me a yeast infection so i couldn’t have sex so i had to tell him. Usually he’ll shut me up and won’t let me tell him about any of the details because it grosses him out so i spare him from it unless i know what it is…. he doesn’t really need to know my “it hurts to pee” symptoms.
First time i had a UTI he thought i was diseased and didn’t really understand that they were two different holes. lol. wouldn’t go near me until i assured him i was all better… and even then he waited a few days just to be safe. He’s not used to all this girly stuff.
