It would depend on why I didnt like him. I

ts one thing if he just annoys you or you think he is a douchecanoe, but its something else entirely if he is a convicted pedophile and you are having kids at the wedding.

I did not care for one of my DH’s groomsmen and I just sucked it up.

I will admit that I am not a huge fan of his best man (his brother). He’s done a lot of shitty things in the last couple of years, not to mention that he is chronically late and makes everything about him/his wife/their kid. I don’t think that his brother will come through for the bachelor party, and have a huge fear that he will be very late on the day of (my one strict rule is that, on the day of, you will show up and be ready ON TIME or you will no longer be in the wedding–unless there is a serious emergency). He and his wife are always late for absolutely no reason other than sheer selfishness, unfortunately.

One of his groomsmen, on the first night meeting me, asked me if I had “reached my sexual peak yet” among many other questions about what I preferred sexually. I’m not a prude, by any means, and I don’t hate him at all, but I feel defensive around him, so hanging out with he and his girlfriend (who usually doesn’t speak at all — once staying silent for over an hour due to some sexual arrangement they have) isn’t my favorite thing. However, he and my FI have been friends since they were children, and he’s a nice enough guy, just a bit odd, so I suck it up.

I love his best man though, and his wife is fantastic. I wish we lived closed to them so we could hang out with them more often.

I get on really well with all his groomsmen. We have been friends for a long time and I am glad he chose who he did. I am also really glad that I get along with them! I would probably suck it up if I didn’t like one of them.

@FoxyBride14:  I like them both, love them. They have become great friends of mine as well. But one of them is a HUGE D-Bag and can get really annoying when he becomes intoxicated. Other than that, they’re both great fun :- D

We have NINE groomsmen.. that’s a lot of guys. I’ve known them all as long as I’ve known my FI (6 yrs) and I can honestly say I like them all. I don’t like them all, all the time.. there’s moments when one annoys me. But generally speaking they’re all good guys and I’m very happy with the guys he picked.

It’s funny.  I like all of DH’s groomsmen, but at one point, I wasn’t the hugest fan of his best man.  As soon as he broke up with his long time fiancee, he completely changed, and he’s now my favourite of DH’s friends, and the one we spend the most time with.  He must have changed his personality or something to fit in better with his FI, and once they split up, the better side of him came out, which I had never seen before.

On the other hand, one of the other two groomsmen had just started dating someone a few months before the wedding, and now he’s completely changed.  I’m not the hugest fan of how he treats the guys (they’re a close knit group of friends since college), because it seems like he’s only got time for them when the GF (who by the way is a lovely girl, so I’m not blaming her in the slightest!) is unavailable, or doesn’t have other plans.  He’s completely changed since when I first met him.

Finally, we have the third groomsman, who I’ve always liked from day one, and I adore his wife, who’s absolutely adorable.

They’re all fantastic.  They went above and beyond for his bachelor party the other night.

Couldn’t ask for a better group of guys.

I like all of FI’s groomsmen!  There’s one I don’t really know that well, but he’s super nice.  Some of them are stressing me out, but that doesn’t make me like them any less =)

I like them. I don’t love them. I think they are vulgar and I’m really nervous about them being around my super conservative family. Like, my dad has never used a swear word around me, doesn’t drink, is very respectful. These guys are your typical beer-drinking, stripper-loving, college-coed type. NOT that there is anything wrong with that BUT I really worry about how everyone will come together at the wedding!
