I don’t know what to do. I had finally setttled on making oreo truffle balls for the favors and now I am thinking of doing something even simpler, like chocolate covered marshmellows. Would you like that as favor at a wedding or is it too childish?

I got some homemade marshmellows in a christmas package last year. They were the best thing EVER!!! Have you thought about doing something like that? I think the ones I got were some kind of berry flavor, oh my, but they were yummy. Then you wouldn’t even have to deal with the chocolate.

O_O!
CHOCOLATE COVERED MARSHMELLOWS?!
Seriously?!
Yum! I support this favor!
Oreo truffle balls sound awesome too, you picked two very awesome favors.
If you want to go with something simplier I think the chocolate covered marshmellows would be an epic choice.
I don’t think they are childish, I think people will appreciate them for how delicious they would taste.
It would be like eating a chocolate covered peeps – which are delicious by the way.

From someone who recently discovered that marshmallows topped with leftover cake frosting is possibly the best food combination on earth (ok, maybe it’s not a food, but if I could live on it I probably would!) —- YES, Chocolate Covered Marshmallows sounds awesome. I’d love them on a stick, dipped in chocolate, and rolled in various toppings (graham cracker crumbs, sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, etc).

YES! Omnomnomnomnomnom.
If you want to class it up a bit, you could maybe put them on sticks, and use white sprinkles on the outside like a cake pop. Make a fancy little holder for them, and you’re all set!
You could also use white chocolate colored to match your wedding colors.

My friend made chocolate covered marshmallows as part of her dessert table for her wedding and yummmmmmm. One was plenty for me, but I definitely loved it.

These are Christmas-y but a cute idea! They’re supposed to be “Hot Chocolate Stirrers, which I think is adorable!

Wow, alright then, I think we have a winner. LOL. I asked my 12 year old son too and he is all for the idea as well. White chocolate would be a real nice tough for sure.
Now how soon can I make them; wedding is on Sunday??????

You can start whenever as long as you keep them cold. Marshmellows dont really get old, and neither does choclate.
