Do you like either of these dresses?!

Dress 2 is gorgeous, the back looks great on you. I think the problems are just because of it being the wrong size for you. Its similar to dress 1 which looks good, so i think the style is fine.

I like the first one, but do you love it?

Of the  two, the first one , but neither is wonderfully flattering.  Number  2 simply makes you look bigger than you are . I’d keep looking ,  bearing in mind the midriff/ waistline tips offered above

I think you will find something really nice – go with your instinct when  you do, don’t be talked in to or out of anything. Oh and don’t  let them keep putting belts on you, they rarely actually enhance and usually merely  add sparkly bulk .

I love the second one, even if it doesn’t fit well at the moment. Afterall, it is a size too small you had said. The back is gorgeous and you’d be able to pull it off.

It doesn’t appear to make your bottom half look larger or out of place. I think the first option makes you appear a little more top heavy (the curse of having large breasts… sigh).

Ultimately, if you’re not feeling either of them then they are the wrong dress for you!

I prefer the 2nd one on you. The back is stunning. But the front is just kind of blah and not flattering. Keep looking!!

klhg515 :  dress 1 is beautiful on you, and yes agree it could look even better with a slightly lowered waistline, and a push up bra/bustier under.

klhg515 :  try to find something with a natural waist. I think the empire waist is making you look bigger than you actually are. It happens to me too. See if they have something more fitted at your waist

Have you considered a mermaid silhouette? It might be a flattering silhouette for you! No harm in trying one.

Personally as I’m also plus size I don’t love the harsh transition right across the midsection.  I think it really draws the eye there, and ddefinitely stayed away from those after trying on one or two!  I think you can do a lot better, but of the two I like the second 🙂

I think I’m a similar shape to you (pretty top-heavy) and I didn’t feel secure in completely strapless as I was getting boob overspill.

This was the style which worked best on me:

Not too deep a cleavage, not too stark a waist (belts just made my boobs look even bigger in contrast) and a bit of a wrap to cover my fat arms and overflowing sideboob. 👌
