As a happy drunk, yes, I like a social buzz. 🙂 But I don’t get estatic if I’m hammered. I have a very fine line between being happy and falling asleep prematurely. Not sure what it is. Doesn’t take much either. A beer or 2 and I’m super cheerful and think I’m insanely funny. My dad is the same way.

I like getting tipsy, but not in losing control.

I voted “to relax a bit”.  I love slowly sipping on a glass of wine after dinner, or while on the phone with my Fiance

I hate the way I feel after a night of drinking.  I am hoping not to drink too much at our wedding 🙂

my besty introduced me to the wonders of a glass of wine or two before bed. 🙂 I now always have some white zin in the fridge if I need a glass after a rough day. I rarely every get REALLY schwasted anymore.

I used to, but I don’t find the hangovers worth it anymore.  Losing two days for a few hours of drinking just don’t equate to me.

I drink socially or sometimes when Darling Husband and I are out for a nice dinner. Darling Husband is allergic so I’ve kind of strayed away from the drinking scene as much because he doesn’t enjoy being around a lot of drunk people.

When I drink I’ll have a glass of wine at home if I want to relax. With dinner I’ll sometimes have a martini. If I have 2 martinis I’ll get a little buzz. I HATE feeling drunk/hungover.

I do enjoy getting drunk occasionally. My hangovers really aren’t bad.

I like to get buzzed, not drunk – and yes, there is a difference! I don’t want to not remember what I did/said the next day or be hungover. I’ve never gotten to the point where I’ve thrown up or felt awful the next day. I prefer to keep it that way, too!

@tksjewelry: same. Every year I get older, my hangovers get worse. It takes fewer drinks to give me a hangover nowadays. I do enjoy getting a little buzz, like after a couple glasses of wine, but dont really like getting drunk anymore. Last night was probably the drunkest I’ve been in a while, but I wasn’t hungover today because I didnt drink too much.

My days of losing control are behind me, for the most part. I don’t drink often. I never have booze in the hosue and SO rarely drinks. I drink at occasions like birthday parties, the occasional girls night out, holidays and that’s it. So maybe a handful of times each year. I used to go out every weekend when I was younger (I’m 27 now) so maybe I got all the partying out of my system lol.

I can’t handle drinking any more. A couple of months ago SO and I had drinks at home (ie 2 drinks for me) and I woke up with a hangover. How embarassing :S

I was raised in a super conservative home, so I didn’t really drink much until I turned 21. My 21st birthday party I was ill, so this year (my 23rd) we partied hardy. It was so much fun. I’ve never been so drunk in my life! But, I’m so responsible with my drinking. I make other people drive if I’m tipsy, I make sure I dont’ work the next day if I plan to have more than a few, etc. I don’t want to be stupid and regret something, but I wanna let loose!
