We’re eloping next month and i picked artifical flowers because i thought it would be cheaper/easier than getting them made up at our destination. I met with a flower arranger, gave her my list of ideas and what she made isn’t exactly what i had in mind.
i wanted a peachy/orangey colour mixed with ivory in small carnation roses with a little detail and foliage in a cascade.
I don’t have the time/money to get another… do you think these look too fake or tacky? Is it nice enough? The colour kind of reminds me of when an artifical flowers are left in the sun and the colour fades. 🙁 I don’t want people to look at my photos and think it’s crap lol

I agree that the colors look faded. I am also not a fan of the vines hanging from the bottom.

@miss_n_hope: I agree with you.
Less vines on the bottom… and less showing leaves in general, I think. Fake flowers, I can get behind, bc they can be really beautiful. For some reason, though, the leaves really take away from it and remind me of my grandma’s house 😛
P.S. Other than that I think it’s really beautiful 🙂

It doesn’t look bad, but if it were me, I’d remove the sparkly things. Or replace them with champagne-colored Swarovski crystals (you can get them from Hobby Lobby). What you have now looks a bit like sequins, and I don’t think sequins in a bouquet is generally regarded as a very classy loook.
Also, that single ivy leaf on the bottom is kind of bugging me. Can you stick it back up in with the rest?

I agree, less vines would be better, but overall I like the soft colour. I think it has a romantic, vintage look.

lol. thanks for your honesty girls. I tried stuffing some of the vines back in, it looked worse when it was delivered. I didn’t know there would be leaves in it… i’ll attach a photo what i was really wanting.
The sparkly bits aren’t sequines, they’re kind of like little stones..
God, i feel worse now, it’s going to ruin my photos, isn’t it?!
I saw a bouquet at the wedding dress shop that this lady had made and it looked really nice and elegant. I contacted her and asked her for pictures of her work and flowers that would be used but she didn’t show me any until i met her, by then it was getting too later to order fresh ones, i just wanted it over and done with so it’s my fault. I did however email the below photos to her, which she didn’t look at and i had to describe on the stop what i wanted. It is autumn inspired but it’s just not right, the more i look at it the less i like it.
