Hi Bees!
I am looking for honest opinions and ideas for jewelry for my dress. There is a picture of my dress below, and two necklaces I am interested in. With both, I would have the designer customize them to be white and shades of light purple, and to sit below of the collar bone. I might have her center them a bit more as well. I would love your thoughts, thanks in advance!

Hmmm, I’m going to be the dissenting opinion. I like #2. I was prom-jewelry shopping with my cousins this weekend, and that first one looks similar to some of the stuff I was seeing.
I think the second one is more classic and goes with the vibe of your dress.

OMG! Those are so beautiful! And your DRESS! Wow! I am a little jealous…ok a lot.
I think both necklaces will go with it. But I love the daintiness of the second one. It looks so elegant and sophisticated.
I have to ask who is making your necklace and who is your dress by?

My gown is by a small couture house here in Sacramento called Miosa. Right now they don’t license their dresses and only do custom creations (it is a pretty expensive dress, though a very good price for custom built).

Hmm… Out of the two, I like the second one better, but I think your dress is so amazing that you might want to go for a simpler look with your jewelry, that way you don’t distract from the “wow” of the dress.

that dress is rockin! i’m not a fan of either necklace with it though – though if i were to pick, I think i’d say two. Something about the dress makes me think to use less jewelry.

The advice about busyness up top is well taken. I’m going to have to ponder on that. I don’t know if it would make a difference, but I should have said that in my version, the ruffle at the very top will not exist. It will be a clean neckline. Just looks better on me that way.

of the 2, i like #2, but i think that something more centred would fit into the sweetheart neckline better. love your dress!
