Okay so first off I want to say that our wedding is very casual. It is not fancy or traditional it is on a weekday morning, there will be no dancing or any of that, just our ceremony and a good time with the people closest to us. So assuming you would attend such a wedding what do you think about these food options?
A pancake bar/station- choose your base batter(plain, blueberry, chocolate chip etc.) and toppings you want mixed in and the chef prepares it for you right there.
Breakfast buffet- spinach and feta frittatas, hash brown bake, bacon and sausage, biscuits with various jams.
And for dessert a build your own ice cream sundae station with all the fixins.
Also contemplating drink options we were thinking of providing beer and wine but now are more considering doing a signature beverage and having like mimosas or screwdrivers since it is so early in the morning and people generally don’t want beer that early. Thoughts anyone? Would you like this menu or be satisfied?
Please remeber it is a casual and very small wedding and early in the morning hence all the breakfast food. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

I think this sounds super cute and I love the food options and the signature drink. Maybe consider bucks fizz as well because of fresh orange (you can do it with a sparkling wine no one will know).
I love the pancake station – I would just eat until my dress burst lol!
Promise you’ll put photos on!!

me too – I’m coming from the UK lol for these pancakes I will do anything!

HA wow thanks guys and our chef mentioned he wanted to do a pancake bar and my Fiance almost squeeled he was so excited lol. And I suppose it is appropriate since it is the first food I ever made for Fiance….but yea we love pancakes lol. And I will look into the bucks fizz, I am still throwing around drink options. I kind of want to do oatmeal cookies(the drink) because they are my favorite…besides who doesn’t love baileys in the morning lol.

Also I forgot the breakfast buffet also includes creme brulee french toast….which makes me drool lol

Sounds freakin’ delish – I love pancakes! And, as a non-egg eater, I appreciate that you have options besides omlettes.
I definitley like the idea of mimosas, screwdrivers, and blood marys. Those are what make a brunch! Plus, if you get some fun fruit purees, the mimosas could be a blast!

Thanks and yea I don’t really like eggs but I was trying to have an option for everyone.
Also any other drink suggestions are more than welcome since we are allowed to bring our own alcohol if we wish I am contemplating buying a bunch of liquor for a few different kinds of mixed drinks for the guests to choose from, because not everyone(including myself) is a big fan of orange juice, even with vodka in it lol.

I think mimosas sound good, maybe you could also do a sangria. I know people who would drink beer at a breakfast/brunch reception so I would add beer too!
Maybe for mimosas, you could do a mimosa bar? Have different juices that guests could mix with the bubbly. (Orange, passion fruit, pineapple, pomegranite, etc..) Just an idea that I might do 🙂

That sounds like a delicious menu, especially with a mimosa. I think it is a great choice for a wedding.

If they are letting you bring alcohol I would have a few options, people will drink at a brunch wedding. I would have beer, a mimosa bar with different juice options since like you said that everyone is a big OJ fan, baileys liquor since some people will add it to their coffee or hot tea, and wine or sangria, if you wanted to add another signature drink my vote is long island ice tea!

It sounds delicious! I would add most anything to coffee.

My only suggestion is some kind of fruit

For drinks, I love the idea of diff fruit juices to mix with champagne! i love it with cranberry juice 🙂
