rosecut:  They just don’t look like the vision in my head of what the shoes for the most important day of my life should look like.

rosecut:  then why ask if we like them? It seems irrelevant to me.

rosecut:  They don’t really seem “wedding-y” to me if that makes sense and one thing that bothers me about that type of material is that it wears where your toes are after a while (like you can see the outline of your toes lol). However, no one will see under your dress and if you like them, go for it! It’s your wedding and you should wear whatever you feel most comfortable in 🙂

rosecut:  Sorry, but my 89 year old Mom has bedroom slippers that look exactly like those. I got flats at DSW shoes, that were silver and looked like very low heeled shoes. (I have a bad back and can’t wear heels). Although your photo sample shoes look comfortable, I can’t imagine they’d be worth the price of a custom shoemaker.

rosecut:  I think these are beautiful and magical, and if you like them you should go for it. I havent had any custom shoes made for me, but I did look into it at one point. The only thing that might worry me is that they look like they might have very little support. I would say read some (lots of) reviews before you make up your mind.

rosecut:  For that price you could just get a pair of Tieks. That’s what I wore

rosecut:  They seem more like what you would change into after the ceremony, but if they make you happy, that’s all that matters.

I’ve just designed a pair of wedges on Shoes of Prey but they haven’t arrived yet so can’t comment on the quality, they do have shoes that you can design with that material if that’s what you want. I think they are cute.
