@smallstuff:  I like it but I don’t like the corset in the back. However, don’t know what it looks like on you so hard to say.

I like it! All it needs is a veil or a fascinator and some pretty jewelry to jazz it up a little.

I think it’s okay.. I would like it 100x more if that diagonal hem wasn’t there. Other than that I like it πŸ™‚

@smallstuff:  A lot of Bees are into the recent trends of Lace and more modern fits (less ballgowns)

but everything is really about what you like. The dress is simple but pretty and personally I love a corset back because it gives you room for weight fluctuations and less having to do with alterations.

If you love it, then go with it πŸ™‚ but maybe try it on and then get a vote since Bees will be able to comment how it looks on you rather than their personal taste in dresses πŸ™‚

It’s not my taste at all, but I do quite like the simplicity of it. If you love it…go for it. I earnestly believe your gown should reflect your personal style, anyway. Don’t get too caught up in other’s opinions/preferences (mine included) if they don’t align with yours because at the end of the day, you are the one wearing the dress.

Were you looking to buy/then alter this dress? Have you tried it on?

If I had to wear it, I’d change the corset back to buttons, have it altered to a fitted column gown, and add an insane train (essentially this but strapless) because it’d be more ~me~:

@Elky:  +1 (and the button you press looks like this: )

Here’s another vote to encourage you to uplaod your photo (we love “real” photos on the Bee).

I like where you are going with this, but I’m also not a big fan of the diagonal hem, those always look like someone was playing with scissors to me!

I love it! I love how simple and well stated it is. I’m a sucker for the corset back, so that is beautiful. I think the lines and pattern are basic and lovely. My only fault with it is it is slightly poofy, but I think that’s probably a crinoline thing which I personally wouldn’t go so whole hog with.

The better question is, do YOU like it? I see a lot of negative feedback on here, but remember, this is YOUR wedding. Don’t let complete strangers on the internet change your mind if you’ve found something you love.

I wouldn’t say that I don’t like it because it’s not ugly and I appreciate everyone’s different styles and tastes, it just seems a little dated to me. Maybe mid 2000’s? But, I think with the right bride, accessories and venue it could look super pretty!

    Looks dated to me, too.

I’m looking out for your shape here, but something on the bottom of that dress is making her back area look HUGE. I like it but…
