I’ve never used one of these and I’m wondering if they are any good. My jeweler told me not to bother, but I thought I would ask what you ladies think? Does it do a better job of cleaning that you can do with those simple liquid jar cleaners? Do they do any damage to the stones, the setting, or a white gold finish?

I absolutely LOVE mine, and I clean everyone’s jewelry when I have guests and they rave about it too. It’s a bit on the expensive side ($95), but since my ring was not cheap, it was totally worth the expense.
This is what I have: http://www.jewelsmall.com/shheuljeclst1.html
HIGHLY recommend it. Worth every penny.
I got the silver plate as well, and it does wonders to my silver jewelry.

There are certain types of settings that it will say not to put in it like pave settings as the stones can get vibrated loose. I have one but now that my setting is updated I’m nervous to use it. I just use my clarisonic to give my ring a good scrub.
If you have a lot of jewelry then it could still be a good investment.
