Oh man, I hate preparing meals.  My fiance loves to cook, so I’m very lucky in that regard.  I feel like cooking maybe once a week, but there are ten thousand things I would rather be doing than making food!

I love it. I love getting in there and making a huge mess lol which my lovely husband usually ends up cleaning up for me after dinner. I find it so relaxing, especially if I’m making something I’m used to making – it’s a chance to turn off my brain a bit and just unwind.

What I *hate* is people being in the kitchen with me. Get out of my happy place!

Ummm…. no. I do prep work in advance because it makes my life easier the next day. But I don’t love it. I’d much rather be on the couch, chilling out.

I prefer actual cooking to prepping. I have to be in the mood though, some days I really cannot be bothered!

Last weekend, I did a three-course dinner for 6 people, and cooked up two of DH’s lunches while I was waiting for the main course. This week? Soup, and Darling Husband can get his own damn lunch.

I love the whole process. Love shopping for fresh stuff on my way home, prepping with a fun TV show on, cooking and cleaning up!

I made Chicken and Dumplings last night. I do enjoy cooking when I’m not too tired after work. I find it a bit relaxing. 🙂

I must be really wierd. I HATE COOKING, hate grocery shopping, hate doing dishes etc. I love to eat eat healthy food, but I despise cooking. I cannot stand making a mess all of over the kitchen and having to clean it up. I’d rather just throw some quick rice, beans and veggies together. I am SOOOOO envious of you all who enjoy cooking. I feel bad because my husband’s mother is an excellent cook. She is attending Le Cordon Bleu right now to get even better. My hubby is stuck with me and random simple dinners that seem to turn out different, ie. occasionally “right”, but often times not so much. Frown.

@Payless:  Ugh! I am jealous! I wish I found that relaxing! I only find it relaxing when my husband and I are doing it together when we are getting ready to entertain!

I love cooking…but not after a long day when I am tired..and because I am busy all the time cooking doesn’t happen very often…

@Payless:  I love it!! No matter how long of a day I’ve had, it is so relaxing to me to prep, cook, and plate pretty and tasty food (Mr. H has no complaints either). I love the adrenaline rush of trying new foods and techniques, and the challenge of plating it to look restaurant quality.

I love everything about food. I make all of our meals, and I really enjoy preparing them – it gives me something to do during the day when I’m tired of working on my thesis. I usually prep the ingredients in the morning so everything is ready to start a little before my husband gets home.
