No; it’s a chore.  But SO equates home-cooked food with love so I do it a lot more than I like…that’s one thing I worry about what we move in together! :S On the bright side, he usually does the dishes and I HATEHATEHATE doing the dishes, so that’s good of him. 🙂

By the time we both get home from work we are usually STARVING, so I dont really enjoy the prepping. I just want to eat hah.

On the weekends I do like making big fancy dinners. It can be very relaxing in a way.

I enjoy it a lot more on the weekends when I have more time to slice and dice and simmer and such… Thus, I try out a lot more recipes on weekends as opposed to weeknights!

I only enjoy it when I’m not working.  I like the accomplishment and I like that we aren’t eating take out.  I don’t go all out gourmet or anything though.  I’m still stuck on simple stuff like lasagna or meatloaf.

I don’t dislike this aspect of cooking…but to be honest, 90% of the time I ask DH to do all the chopping. I’m mostly there to manage/make sure everything gets cooked properly, and he loves to help!

@Payless:  Depends on the day lol. If I’ve had a really long/ tiring day at work the last thing I want to do is come home and cook. But I do absolutely love the feeling that I’m taking good care of my husband:) And he’s always extremely grateful and complimentary of every single meal. So that always makes me glad I put in the effort:)

Good for you! It’s pretty much the thing I hate the most.  I CAN cook I just don’t like to. It takes so much time and by the time I get home I’m usually starving.  I typically make one or two meals a week and we eat lots of leftovers from them for the rest of the week.  Luckily DH will eat anything.

I love it too! I actually love all aspects of cooking. I get a little restless at night when I don’t cook dinner. Sometimes to get my fix I will just make the pups dog treats or something!

I have my laptop in the kitchen with me all the time and have a show or something on and Fiance will sometimes come in for a snack and just stand there watching the show/being in the way. So annoying!

@Payless:  I’d gladly let you meal prep all my meals 🙂
