Darling Husband packs his own lunch, but I’ll sometimes make two sandwiches if I’m making myself one in the morning anyway. (if he hasn’t made his yet)

Of course, 50% of the times I do he’s like “oh thanks but today is catered at work” lol.

HoneysHoney :  Except if you were at home, one of you would probably make lunch and you’d and eat lunch together right?

Seems such a stupid thing to get upset over. No, doing a task does not make youyou’re husband’s mother. If he mows the lawns or something does that make him your Daddy?

canhorsegal :  yeah, NO! He has arms and is perfectly capable. He can dish leftovers into a container, or make a sandwhich- he’s not helpless lol

mandapanda12 :   ha we don’t really bean count but we just play to our strengths I guess. He hasn’t turned on an appliance outside the microwave or ran an errand in like 6-7 years but on the flip side, he outearns me by 3x and has no hesitation of sharing other with his family, paying for my son (his stepson’s) private school and college, investing our $ to retire early… it just works for us so he can concentrate on his jobs and investing. But he holds no grudges nor do I. As a matter of fact, I’m typing this as I pack for his next business trip. Haha. I gusss I just need way less downtime than him! Plus though he’s very Americanized, he’s also Chinese and I think a certain part of him loves to be provided for and it doesn’t bother me. Lol.

he does do the cat box and feed them everyday he’s not traveling for work, I make sure of that! 😝.

Innerdonught :  Ha. I guess you could say mowing the lawn would be “fathering” if I deliberatley refused to know how to do it and would allow the grass to grow until it’s 4 feet tall rather than do it myself.

hikingbride :  I was waiting for someone to make this comment! I make my fiances lunch, and scramble eggs for him to have in the morning every night after dinner. He is an amazing cook so usually takes the lead with dinner (we joke that I am the cutest sous chef he could have asked for) and I can make a mean sandwich with some packed veggies and chips 🙂 I love doing it and it is a way for me to show my love! But on the flip side if I am gone in the evening for a work event I come home to packed lunches ready to go for the next morning in the fridge. It is one of the reasons I love US so much!

I make my SO’s lunches for him. Usually it’s just leftovers from dinner though.

I’m the one who does all the cooking. Cooking is basically my hobby, I love it so it’s just natural for me to do all the cooking.

My SO does help with things like chopping and cleaning the dishes while I’m cooking. He also does a lot of cleaning around the house. We both just do what comes naturally, for him it’s cleaning up and laundry and vacuuming and things like that, for me it’s cooking and organizing and planning.

We both go to the gym and follow relatively strict diet plans, so we meal prep our meals on a Sunday. So yes, every Sunday I cook in bulk and pack it into containers which go in the fridge/freezer for the week.

I pretty much do all the cooking, which I agreed to, so long as he does all the laundry. I HATE hanging / folding clothes lol.

if he asked me to, I aboslutely would. And I do like to surprise him with lunch on my day off.

But heʻs a chef so he eats throughout the day in the kitchen.

However, I do have some sort of dinner ready EVERY night for him when he gets home and I make sure there are leftovers for him to munch on while Iʻm at work 🙂

Once we get back from our honeymoon and settle into a routine I will be packing our lunches. It really isn’t a big deal for me to pack leftovers from dinner.
