It’s cheaper to buy nuts in bulk, and making your own gives you control over what goes into the mix.

Nine times out of ten, it’s cheaper to make it yourself. Just like it’s cheaper to prepare and cook your own food.

I make it myself. I find it’s cheaper- also, there are some things in store bought trail mix I don’t care for, so this way I can customize it. My SO also likes different things than me, so this way we can each kind of make our own mixes.

I go to the local bulk food store (Bulk Barn). That way I can choose what to put in and I don’t end up picking out the things I don’t like. I put in cashews, sunflower seeds, honey roasted peanuts, banana chips, craisins, and M&Ms. It is much cheaper, and much tastier.
