We didn’t register for it.  Now, I have my parent’s china that my dad gave to me.  When I was little, we used it for our big Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners.  But as a married couple, we haven’t had a party that would need it in a year and a half and I don’t see a real need in the foreseeable future.

We’re registering for fine china.

My family uses it for holidays mostly. Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. We’ll probably also use it for dinner parties, special occasions, etc.

It’s a personal preference, and I’m sure a lot of people don’t bother with fine china anymore, but we really like to use it for holidays in my family. 🙂

My family uses fine china for dinner parties (which are frequent) and all holiday meals and special occasions.  We registered for it because when else am I going to be able to buy 12 place settings that are over $100 each.

No…fine chine isn’t something that I really use. My mom has some that we never use anymore. Back in the day, we used to break it out for Thanksgiving or something like that but now we usually just use plastic plates.
