    @Lepidoptera:  No. I didn’t.

    His gifts to me were a pair of Jimmy Choos (which I wasn’t allowed to wear in my venue because they had 5″ stiletto heels) and a candle of my wedding perfume (and it’s hard to wear a candle).

    I would try to if it were something wearable.  Of course, we didn’t give each other gifts.

    My Darling Husband gave me his gift after the wedding (while our photographers were still with us so that they could capture the moment), so I didn’t have an opportunity to wear it.

    If I had a gift in advance, it would really depend on what it was and if it fit into my wedding day attire. I’d try to wear it if possible, at least for some part of the event… maybe just the ceremony or just the reception.

    I voted no because I dont think you should HAVE to wear anything.  But i probably would anyway.  And i plan to give Fiance a pocket watch that I expect him to wear lol!

    my wedding gift from my dh was an oris watch.  i knew i was getting it.  i didn’t wear it.  he also surprised me with a gorgeous pair of cushion cut pink topaz and diamond halo earrings.  i didn’t wear them either because i was wearing pearls that day.  (he gave me the pearls on our first valentine’s day).

    Darling Husband and I didn’t exchange gifts, hadn’t even heard of such a thing until I joined the bee. We were just happy to be married. I guess technically my e-ring was a gift.

    I wouldn’t unless you want to or unless it will make him really happy and it’s not a big deal. My Fiance got me a tiffanys necklace for christmas three years ago and I plan on wearing it as my something old. I never take it off and its just a sterling silver classic heart. Do what you want to do. But you don’t have to do anything
