We smoke maybe once every other week. Or with friends on weekends. But really its just to relax and enjoy.

Neither of us smoke pot, but both of us are 100% for legalizing marijuana.
We live in the Bay Area where it is rampant and out in the open. I find it pretty disgusting. I don’t understand why it’s ok to make public places smell like burning skunk, or why it’s cool to light up around children. Neither of us smokes.
Neither of us do, but I swear sometimes it feels like we’re the only two people on earth who don’t! In California at least. It’s super easy to get a medical MJ card and many of our friends AND FAMILY make liberal use of it.
Neither of us has ever even tried it.
I look at where all my friends who did it in high school are today, and that pretty much solidifies my desire to stay as far away from it as humanly possible.
I also have an ethical issue with it, aside from the fact that it’s illegal. I had an International Business professor at university tell us once that she really didn’t care about us smoking pot, that she had no problem with weed itself.
But she wanted us to know that when someone purchases weed, because of the illegality of it and where it’s generally sourced from, it’s pretty much a sure thing that at some point, they are financially supporting the same people who are human traffickers and involved in child sex trade in South America.
I think that’s something that a lot of people really just don’t consider. I hadn’t thought of it before it was pointed out to me.
neither of us do. I believe my husband did in college. I think it’s similar to cigarette smoking where you really need to do it outside as much as possible, or at least in a home that you own and live by yourself in. The smoke makes clothes, houses, cars, people etc totally REEK like puke.
I think I must be super-sensitive to it though, because if other people smelled it like I do, nobody would be smoking.
I honestly can’t understand how anyone can have a problem with pot but still drink. If you also abstain from alcohol, then that’s a different story and makes more sense to me.
We both used to very occasionally in highschool. Neither of us do now.
Before we were TTC, it was every day for a few years. Once we started TTC we stopped completely, and I’m now almost seven months pregnant. We don’t have plans to start up again unless it becomes legalized in our state. I have NO problem at all with marijuana but I would feel like a total piece of shit if I ever got busted buying weed as a mom. (And it’s unlikely I’d ever get busted as I’m not buying from high-volume dealers and I only ever smoke in the privacy of my own home, but still.)
