A family I babysit for has a green egg and they LOVE it.  I haven’t eaten anything from it, and I think they said it takes a while to heat up, but I know they really enjoying cooking on it.

FH’s parents have one and it is AMAZING!  I always joke that I’m going to come steal in from them, lol.  I would definitely buy one if I could afford it!

My cousin has one and I cannot tell you how awesome it is, but I will try.  We went over there for a “bbq” a couple months ago and he served beef brisket, tuna steaks, chicken kabobs, pork loin and corn– all made in the green egg in one afternoon.  It’s very versatile–You can even get a special grate so you can cook a pizza on it!

He uses it almost every night in the summer… I so want to get one once we have a home!

My In-Laws friends have one lol! And from what I hear they love it!

But, we actually have a non-electric smoker and it rocks!

My Brother-In-Law and SIL have one and they LOVE it. I have had pizza and ribs from it and both were absolutely delicious.

My parents have one and they had my grandpa build the base for it.  That thing pretty much rocks!

We have one and LOVE it!

We have people over a lot to enjoy my husband’s specialties (brisket and ribs), and we also use it quite a bit to cook for just the two of us.

I would definitely recommend getting the large or extra large model if you want to be able to cook more than one thing at a time.  And also look into buying some of the accessories (tri-level stand, pizza stone, table).

People brag on the food we cook on the BGE all the time, and although I wish we could take all the credit, I honestly think the grill makes all the difference.
