My husband is in medical school and has lunch breaks. He could buy lunch, but it’s a lot cheaper to take his own. Originally he was supposed to pack his own lunch. That didn’t work out – he’d message me halfway through the day saying he was hungry and forgot a lunch. So, I started making his lunches of the nights before I go to bed.
What about the rest of you?

I always cook enough so that we have leftovers for lunch or come up with some other plan… but he puts it in his lunch bag himself!

We just make doubles from dinner the night before and whichever of us does the dishes packs up the leftovers for lunch… so yes, I pack his lunch, and sometimes he packs mine! If I have a lunch date and there’s no leftovers though, he’s on his own… he’s a big kid who can deal with his own lunch problems haha.

Nope, maybe I’m a “bad wife” but I’d probably message him back something like, “that sucks, remember to pack a lunch next time”

Sometimes I do, if there’s something leftover that he wants to take to work with him. 🙂

I do something similar. DH takes leftovers more than things like sandwiches. Sometimes I put them in a bag, sometimes he does. I hate it however when he brings home 2 weeks worth of plastic containers! Gross!

Haha, that’s basically what I told him in the beginning. I think the only reason I really pack it for him is because I am an insomniac, so I end up doing it at like 2 in the morning, lol.

Yup, I just make his lunch when I’m making DD’s school lunch. They both get a sandwich, piece of fruit, and a bottled water. He used to get takeout or fast food every single day, and it adds up!

the only time i EVER pack him anything is for his bday or holiday ( vday etc)
hes a CHEF..he works in a kitchen! he eats lunch there everyday.
If anything, he brings me lunch on occasion ( mostly the summer) since we work a mile apart!

Lol he is currently unemployed so he packs my lunch!

I voted sometimes. We go lunching together every Friday, but other than that, I am the one preparing his lunch for work. He has been doing that for me sometimes as well. It’s really cute seing him preparing our lunch bags. 🙂

It depends on which of us has time in the morning. If we’re taking packed lunches then it’s almost invariably leftovers from the night before.
No option for “Whoever has time”?

I barely give myself enough time to pack a lunch in the am, nevermind my husband. There’s usually leftovers that he can eat and he also eats at home the majority of the time, anyway. He does go out to eat if he’s in town, so sometimes those leftovers don’t get eaten. I’ll make him lunch on the weekends or if I’m home from work for some reason (baring any illness where I’m in bed)

I make him a breakfast smoothie every morning and juice a bunch of vegetables as well. He buys his own lunch but it usually takes me about 15 minutes to do all of that for him

I don’t, but he comes home every day for lunch, he works less than 5 min from our house.
