Do you participate in forums other than the ‘bee? If so, which ones and why? If not, why not?
Right now, the only forum I post on is the ‘bee. I’ve been a part of a makeup forum, and the girls there were not always the nicest.

Pricescope is my go-to place when this one is bumming me out or not piquing my interest. I love learning everything and anything about gems and jewelry and not only do incredibly knowledgeable connoiseurs hang out there but so do vendors from the business which makes it a great learning environment. It’s pretty judgement free as well. .4cts or 4cts, they don’t bash and judge other’s moral backbones simply because they “made the mistake” of posting or discussing jewelry on a jewelry forum.
Not that it happens here all the time. It certainly doesn’t. But the frequency has gotten to the point that I’m growing weary of the community and it isn’t providing me the learning opportunities that pricescope is. We’ll see…

Only this one. I’ve never been interested in joining a forum before the Bee, but then I started planning my wedding… and then I was hooked!

I’m only here. I used to read a lot at one of our sports message boards and I still look sometimes, but I don’t post there.

I’m on pricescope, but I don’t post much there, mostly I just lurk and drool. Jewelry is what originally drew me to the bee, and pricescope is a lot less judgemental like PP mentioned. They love it all, and if they don’t, they just don’t post instead of saying something rude.

Yep, I’m a mod on another forum. Been an active member of that community for 11 years.
