I know women use this site for different stages of their life: waiting, engaged, married, and parenting.
I found Wedding Bee months ago while looking online for wedding blogs. My primary use for this site is to get advice, feedback, and ideas for my upcoming wedding.
I always thought this site was mainly used and created for engaged brides. I planned on closing my account after I got married because I wouldn’t have too much use for it. Even so, I notice many brides still stick around for the sheer entertainment (relationship drama/forum fights) and/or the love of all things wedding related.
Will you still stick around here to post and comment after you get married, or will you stop/close your account once you’re finally wed?

Well I got married 2 years ago so what does that say.. LOL.

I truly thought I would have closed it down right after we got married but it’s 2 months out and we still haven’t gotten our photos back from the pro photog and I am really excited to put together our recaps. So at least until recaps 🙂 Then we’ll see.

@petalpetal: Well, I am a recent newlywed (just got married yesterday), but I plan on sticking around!
I actually read more Not Wedding Related threads/posts than wedding posts. I have found the weddingbee is a great, supportive community full of interesting conversations and individuals.

@petalpetal: I had every intention of leaving, but it seems like I won’t be done with wedding stuff until April of next year lol.

Well, I’m already married & I’m still here lol.
But, like a PP, I haven’t gotten my pro pics back yet so I’m really not sure if my use will decrease after I do our recap or not.
I know at one point I thought I would stay forever on jewelry boards after I got my engagement ring, but I did end up basically leaving since sticking around after my custom ring was finished & I was engaged was basically just temptation to feel I needed to spend money on more sparklies.
But, idk, we shall see in a month or two how I feel about weddingbee.

I thought I would have left too, but it really helps pass the time and I haven’t found another site that has caught my attention.

I’ve been married for over a year and I’m still on here! I love giving advice and seeing people’s ideas and recaps and such for their own weddings. I also read a lot of posts in the Nesting section as we will be TTCing next year.

Probably stay on. I’m on here all the time now! Even more than facebook. I’ve never found a website more interesting 😛

I’ll stay to give advice etc. A lot of posts ask for advice from bee’s of what happened on their wedding day etc.
I also plan on one day using the besting section 🙂

There’s way more to the boards than weddings, and certainly way more to it than drama. I stuck around for the housing boards, nesting, and general life/news/interesting threads.

I LOVE weddingbee! 😀 You girls are so fabulous, that I’m now here for 2 years post wedding, and counting!

I got married two months ago and am still around.
If everyone left after getting married who would give advice to all the brides to be? I suppose that others planning could give advice but they haven’t actually had their wedding yet so they don’t have the same experience as bees that are already married.
Plus I use this for tons of other topics and I admit to loving all the ring porn and wedding recaps!

I don’t plan to hang around, but seeing as this helps pass time during my workday during downtime, I’m not sure what will fill the void. Soooo yeah, I’ll probably stick around for a little bit.
