Yes. We play vid games. We have the Wii, PS3, and the Xbox 360. Fiance used to work in the gaming industry (until he was laid off), which is why we have all these. (well, the Wii is mine).

Together, we would play Rock Band or Guitar Hero. Sometimes so Mario Kart or Wii Fit. Wii Fit is not a multiplayer game really, though.

In groups, we also like to play Super Smash Bros Brawls. I like to play Kirby (because you can swallow other people and spit them off the cliff – or commit suicide with them).

We don’t get addicted on vid games, though. Probably because it’s just the two of us.. they collect more dust than actually get any action from us. His Xbox has a blog (or used to) which would whine about how he would neglect him..

Yes! I tease him about his video game addiction quite often. He likes to play Call of Duty and sometimes we play Rock Band of Little Big Planet together. Last year we were all about going out to places on the weekends, but this year has been quite a contrast. We are such homebodies now. We like to stay in on the weekends, rent movies and play video games.

My son and I (and T too) love guitar hero and spore.

Spore is very addictive and fun.  We love making the creatures get bigger. (gotta hunt down the other creatures and gobble em’ up).  Guess this sits well with me b/c I came from the pac man generation!  When I was around his age, that was what I was into!

We have PS2 and the Xbox, and he got me a Wii for Christmas. I have been wanting a Wii Fit sooooo badly but they were all sold out in our area. I went out to get his V-day present & card today and when I came home he said here’s your V-day present (we are celebrating tonight coz we have family staying over tomorrow for his dad’s b-day)…he searched who knows how many stores and got me a Wii Fit!!!!! and the snowboarding game…I am a snowboarder…so we have been playing with the Wii Fit and the snowboarding & Ferrari game he got for the last few hours.

@bellenga – Pacman was my favorite when I was a kid!!! I’m just not coordinated enough for all the complicated games.

We have a Wii, but I tend to lose interest quickly.  I never want to play a game, but once I start I always end up having fun if it was someone else’s idea.

Aside from Wii and the occasional Guitar Hero, video games just don’t interest me!  Mr. Cupcake likes playing a bit more than me, but he still doesn’t play regularly. I am thinking about getting Wii Fit, though, since it seems like it would put a fun twist on exercising (which I have been avoiding since the wedding).

I have a PS2 and I love Karaoke Revolution and DDR!  My Maid/Matron of Honor let me play her guitar hero game, and I was hooked on the first try!!  I think a Wii Fit would be awesome too!

He got me a Nintendo DS lite for Christmas. We’ve been having ALOT of fun with it. I’d really like to get another so we can play two player games.  Like the Bees I know that if we got a game system we’d never get anything else done! We do have my old school NES which we break out every few months though.

We have a Wii (wedding present from his brother and mine), an Xbox, PS2, Dreamcast, and Sega Genesis (old school, I know.. he was upset that his mom had sold his, so I bought him one for Christmas one year). We don’t play much on the systems… Wii Tennis, some Super Smash Bros, and Katamari Damacy. I watch him play through RPGs for the storyline. Together, we mostly play Warcraft 3’s Defense of the Ancients mod and Guild Wars, both on PC. He was a major FFXI addict before I met him though, but he gave it up shortly after we started dating.

We have a Wii (my engagement present to him) and a PS2 (which we haven’t hooked up since we moved 8 mo ago). We enjoy playing on the wii, he does more than I do, but we’ve been taking a break from it after my Future Brother-In-Law played MarioCart for just about 5 days straight over the holidays at my FMIL’s house. I have learned, ALWAYS rent a car.

We enjoy Super Mario Sluggers, Wii Sports, and Rock Band.

That’s the next thing I’m gonna get is a Wii!  I’d love to try super mario kart!  But we love our ps3.  GH rocks!  I even play against T and my son.  Spore is on the laptop.  But very very addictive.

Anybody ever try spore?  You could play that game for years and not be done with it what with all the different worlds you can create.

Family game night includes the Wii gaming system (as well as dominoes, card games, parchese, Apples to Apples, Scrabble, & Catch phrase, pictioinary, Scene it). Unfortunately, my FH isn’t into board games! He calls them ‘B-O-R-E-D’ games. I don’t think he is entirely into video gmes either- unless it is madden football. :-/
