I’ve posted my ring on the bee, but not on facebook.  I’ve always loved looking at all the beautiful rings on here that I wanted to share mine too!

I have posted my ring here, even though it is a very unique design.  I try not to post it too often, usually I do it on “unique rings” threads or something like that.

I have posted it once on facebook, but it was part of an album of a few other engagement photos.  It wasn’t on my hand or part of a status update.

I post my ring lots! I love sharing and discussing rings…my guilty pleasure. LOVE this weddingbee forum! It’s my escape from my busy work-life. Otherwise, a lot of girls I know don’t care at all about rings and even frown upon girls who wear them. So you bees are “my girls”!!

I looooove seeing all your rings. 🙂

I guess I fall in the middle. I don’t post every chance I get.  I’ve got an oval and pretty much only post when someone asks about those but not about rings in my carat range.

Generally speaking I’d post my ring here – once in awhile. In real life – never. No facebook, instagram, etc. It’s just not for me. I see plenty of gals announce their news via a hand pic. Its just not my taste.

I am obsessed with looking at e-rings and have no problem posting mine since I adore my set. I’ll never get tired of looking at diamonds!

I don’t post pictures of my ring because I’m just big on privacy and also I don’t want anyone to copy the uniqueness that is my ring. lol. When I wrote my engagement story and emailed to my friends and family, I did include a picture of the ring. But, I’m not big on facebook and don’t have an instagram, so i didn’t post on the internet.

I post my ring on WB whenever my ring “fits” the thread
(i.e. halo, rose gold, etc) and sometimes when it’s just a general “ring porn” thread. I love my ring and don’t mind showing it off. I’ve also helped quite a few bees by posting my wedding band…they message me asking where I got it because they love it and can’t find it anywhere. I don’t mind posting stats when asked, but I don’t post the price.

I posted it to Facebook as my announcement because I was really excited. Some may look at that as bragging, but practically everyone who recently got engaged that I’m friends with has done the same thing.

Oh, and I did get a few negative comments about my e-ring/wedding band combo but I figured that would happen. People’s tastes differ and I don’t see anything wrong with that. However, if those comments crossed over to bitchy or just plain rude, we would have a problem. I’ve been lucky enough to only receive gracious negative comments.
